Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park-Plymouth, IN, Plymouth, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Huge campground (over 1000 sites ??), mostly seasonals. Lots of children's activities. Lot's of golf carts cruising. We were located 1/2 mile from the gate, so it was a bit inconvenient to leave the park (many speed bumps and the fact that when we leave, we take our entire RV). Grass site that we had to level ourselves. However, we did have bathhouse, pool, laundry, etc on our end. Loved being able to use Visa in the laundry!! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park-Plymouth, IN in a Motorhome.

White's Haven Campground, Clarington, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed one night, but we would stay again. We were in a 30' Class C so we did not encounter the issues that the other 2 reviews noted as far as tight roads or turn around for dump station. We did have to do a bit of our own leveling. Mostly seasonal folks who keep their property quite lovely. We camped at White's Haven Campground in a Motorhome.

Owners very accommodating - converted our site to a 30amp before we arrived; spacious sites, lovely setting, quiet, clean, near what we wanted to see. WiFi and cable can be sketchy, but, hey, maybe that is a good thing sometimes !! We camped at The Ammonoosuc Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ride the COG Railway to the highest point on east coast, beautiful views (temp drops drastically bring a jacket). Pricey, but worth it, lots of stuff to see and do at the top of the summit. Area is a sportsmans paradise ! Biling, fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, snow sports in the winter, etc.

Hilltop Farm Campsites, Mountain Dale, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Site was grass and deeply rutted, no where near level; very tall grass; grounds have not been maintained in months (years); weeds are abundant and I was concerned about snakes hiding in them within 20 feet of our site although I never saw one; playground, pavillion in complete disrepair; the bathroom/showers/laundry room were disgusting. Pool is being renovated, old boards are laying on grounds with the nails sticking up, water looks like it has not been maintained in years; We called and left a message for owners to see if they had coffee in the store and they never returned the call; in fact, the "store" has not been restocked in years; previous "terrible" reviews of this facility are still relevant. We camped at Hilltop Farm Campsites in a Motorhome.
