Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

If you want to tour Washington this is the place. The staff was very helpful in answering all our questions. We had a premium site and was worth the extra $. We got the refillable mug at the cafe that was good for our entire stay. It costs $6.50 and ended up costing about 35 cent when we were done. It is unlimited soda or coffee or ice tea. Get the Smartrip for the metro. They sell them at the office. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for four nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful in answering all our questions. It rained pretty hard the day before we came and our site was wet and the owner offered to put us in a different site if we were not satisfied. It wasn't the owners fault. The Wi-Fi worked pretty well. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Spring Valley Campground, Cambridge, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground for staying one night or a week. The staff is extremely helpful. Because of Hurricane Irene we had to stay four nights and the staff worked it so we could stay in our site for the entire time. The Wi-Fi worked very well. Our site was level but the hookups are in the middle, so make sure your electrical cord will reach. We camped at Spring Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were not overly impress with this park. We were on our way home from Florida so it was only overnight and close to I-57. We arrived at 6 pm and the office was closed. You could not use a credit card since the office was closed so you had to use the night deposit with an envelope with cash. Had to use the intercom which was hard to understand since they were cutting down and trimming trees. It was muddy and soft. The rest rooms and shower was locked so you could not use them. There were only about 4 of us staying there. Never did see the owners. Will not stay there again. We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Deer Run RV Park, Troy, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed this campground. We were on our way home from Florida so only stayed overnight. We made reservations which is highly recommended. The lady at check in was friendly and offered us a lemonade slushy which was nice on a hot day. We walked up to the shower house, and everyone was so friendly. When we pulled in at 6 pm there were 3 campers in front of us and 4 coming in after us. The cable worked and also the WIFI. We camped at Deer Run RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Owl's Nest Campground, Junction City, Kansas

Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight and would use it again. There are not very many overnight spots. Should call in advance before showing up. The office is in the building next door. Had trouble finding it. It is all blacktopped. As said, there is only one restroom shower. Would stay again. We camped at Owl's Nest Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wahweap RV and Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We also stayed in the "D" loop with a pull-through site. It is all concrete and level. There are back-in sites around the outer edge of the loop. It was very clean and the staff was really helpful and even let me check in early. Be careful of the time changes. They were on the day light savings time and were an hour earlier than the mountain time. We walked to the lake which was really quite a distance. It didn't look like it. We camped at Wahweap RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We really liked this campground for the closeness to Durango and Mesa Verde. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They escort and help you set up at your site. We had a pull-thru and was very level. The roads were all paved. There is only one TV channel but the WIFI was the fastest we had in our western travels. We camped at Lightner Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for four nights while sightseeing the area. It is very clean but all gravel. We had a back in with plenty of shade. Was not sure why we were assigned a back in because there use pull thrus that were available the time we were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't use the bathroom but there was a $20 deposit for the key. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. Used the laundry room which was clean. We walked to a couple of restaurants. Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The only thing about this campground is the closeness to Bryce National Park. Like others have said it is ATV heaven. And very dusty. We had site 101 which was a pull thru and very close to your neighbors. You could use Bryce National Park shuttle and leave your vehicle at the campground. No WIFI is speak of and no TV reception. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

As others have said, it is the best campground in the area. We were in the Island section and had a very long site. It is all gravel and somewhat level. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was very nice after a long day of site seeing. We would differently stay there again. The WIFI was iffy. We camped at Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here while visiting Custer's Battlefield. It is on a hill with all pull thru. The bathroom and showers were very clean. The road to it was paved until the last 200 yards. All the sites are gravel. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.
