We spent one night here in a pull through. Quick check in, easy setup, sites are decent size and we had an end site with lots of room. Excellent Verizon data/cell. Staff was very helpful with a dead battery on our tow car. We would stay here again for sure.

We stayed here for one week and the rate reflects that. This is a well managed, busy park. There is a BBQ cafe on site that is operated by the owners. The campground is quiet and provides easy access to the I-80 and I-25. The sites are a bit stingy on space and have low water pressure. Very good Verizon cell/data. The winds were at a constant 15 mph during our stay. Overall, a well run campground, lots of grass, two nice dog runs, and friendly staff.

We camped here one night only in a pull-through. Large level sites, good utilities, high water pressure. A very nice young man checked us in and he was professional and polite. The park has stickers so my dog's feet were not happy. Some road noise, but we didn't notice it during the night.

One word - Trains. If you could take the trains out of the equation this campground would be a 10 out of 10. Very nice, helpful campground hosts, beautiful setting along a creek, pretty views. Easy access to highway. Verizon cell/data signal very good. There is a a train crossing at the campground, and train horns are sounded every time they come through, about one per hour. If you can deal with the trains, this place is a real gem.

Well maintained campground on the banks of the Guadalupe River. We had a large level full hook up site. Strong Verizon cell/data signal. We rode out a strong rain/thunderstorm here and the campground drained promptly so we didn't have to deal with large flooded areas. There is a saloon with live music inside this park, if you like nightlife and music then ask to be parked next to the saloon.

This campground is smack in the middle of things like the interstate and major shopping and yet is designed to make you feel you are out in the country. We stayed a week and Explored Arlington, Ft. Worth, and Dallas. The large oak trees in this park create a canopy that blocks out the sounds of the city. We had to pull out our portable satellite dish but the serenity of the trees was worth it. A little expensive but we enjoyed our stay here.

What a great find. It has stunning views of the River and bridge. We stayed here one night in a large, level pull through site. The dump station is available as you exit campground. Very nice camp host. I wish we could have stayed another day. Weak Verizon cell/data at this area.

We stopped here for one night. Large level sites, full hookup, very nice owners trying very hard to make a difference. Verizon cell/data signal is strong here. Propane is available here, easy access on your way out of the campground. My only complaint is the grass had lots of stickers which stuck to the bottom of my shoes and my dog's feet.

We stayed here using our Western Horizons membership. No internet available at park, Verizon cell phone coverage does not work, Verizon mifi was very weak. Massive amounts of mosquitoes in the unkept grasses throughout park. There is a stagnant lagoon (complete with alligator and a warning not to go near it) that is probably the reason for the mosquitoes. We left 5 days early and was told that campground does not give refunds for any reason. We recommend paying daily for your stay here since it is likely you will want to leave early.

We stayed 4 days, explored Roswell and rode out a bad windstorm in this park. Owners are very helpful and friendly. The park is well kept, and we felt very safe and protected. Easy access.

I called the office twice to confirm availability since we were driving quite a distance to get here. They do not take reservations, but the staff said they had room. We arrived today around noon, and there was a sign at the front door of the gift shop stating the RV park would be closed 4/16 & 4/17 due to chip sealing of the campground. Make sure you ask the person who answers the phone if the park is available before you drive the extra 20+ miles from Carlsbad to get here. We were very disappointed with the poor customer service.

Stayed here for 10 days while we explored Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Moss Landing. Centrally located for many day trips up and down the coast. Easy access to beach along trail through the dunes. Shopping is very close. The only reason I rated park a 9 was the cost. It is very expensive but did have all we needed.

We camped here with our RV club and received a reduced nightly rate. Well appointed clubhouse was made available to our club.

Small park but was quiet and convenient to Cherokee Heritage Center and Museum. We used Passport America discount. Staff was very friendly at the gas station where you check in, and you can choose your own site.

Spacious sites, sewer hookups are not at every site, but folks tend to share. 3 fishing lakes, brand new showers, sparkling clean. The train goes by but is acceptable. We stayed here for 5 days after being chased by bad weather, it was a great place to rest.
