Deer Haven Campground and Cabins, Oneonta, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we have stayed at this campground. We stayed here because it is close to the AllStar Village that our son played in. We loved being here! The view is beautiful, the owners are top notch, and the location is peaceful. The owners are constantly making improvements. They have added a mini playground area and laundry facilities were being added right when we left. We will camp here again with out any hesitation. Thanks for a great week! We camped at Deer Haven Campground and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Deer Haven Campground and Cabins, Oneonta, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

What a great find this place is! We camped here for my son's Cooperstown week and truly enjoyed ourselves. We were only a two minute drive from the village. This is a family owned business and the owners will go out of their way to please you. A very peacefully and relaxing atmosphere. Pool, restrooms, and grounds were well maintained. The only reasons for the 9 rating were the steep driveway and only 2 showers for the facility. We will go back without a second thought. We camped at Deer Haven Campground and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Myrtle Beach KOA, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Activities for children spaced out throughout the week. Good location. No fire pits but if you ask for one they will bring one to your site. We stayed in a full hook up back in site with sand, only problem was the small ants. We put Comet down on all areas that ants could crawl up and this solved the problem. Bath house was clean but they are dated. Internet access but must use Linkspot for a cost, you set it up. Great reception for internet. I would stay again but would like to be closer to North Myrtle beach, about a 30 minute drive. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Roundup Lake Campground (formerly Roundup Lake RV Resort), Mantua, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great place for children. Plenty of activities to keep them busy. We have camped here before and always enjoy going back. Internet access does not work well even at the main building. Restrooms are always maintained. There are some shaded areas but not the majority of sites have it. We camped at Roundup Lake Campground (formerly Roundup Lake RV Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA, Petersburg, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here from Wed. through Mon. During the weekdays it was nice and quiet. Weekends were very busy and loud. Friendly staff and patrolmen for the weekend. One item to work on would be to have some children supervised activities that the staff do (treasure hunts, crafts, etc...). They only have a wagon ride for the kids and this is only on the weekends. Plenty of things to do at campground. Nice shady sites. Restrooms do need some cleaning up and very few to use for such a large campground. Wifi is very limited as to where it can be received. No swimming pool to swim in only what is at the end of the water slide. Love that the slide is free during the weekdays. Close to many attractions. Have stayed here twice and would be willing to stay again, only during the weekdays. We camped at Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA in a Travel Trailer.
