Crystal Rock Campground, Sandusky, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The voltage at our site was less than 100 VAC, it should be 115 minimum. This was with just the TV operating. Went to the office and the sent a fellow out with his voltmeter. He did not think it was that big a problem, I explained that it is a VERY big problem. I found that the voltage on the site next to us was 114 VAC and it was not rented so I plugged in there. They have some serious power issues at this campground. The restrooms and showers were excellent. We camped at Crystal Rock Campground in a Motorhome.

Thompson / Grand River Valley KOA (formerly Heritage Hills Campgrounds, Thompson, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $27.00

The road to the park is gravel so the motorhome and toad were VERY dusty by the time we got to our site. There is a security gate at the entrance that is in operation 24 hours a day. You need to pull up to it and wait for the staff to push the button. Seems like it could be left open during the day. We camped at Thompson / Grand River Valley KOA (formerly Heritage Hills Campgrounds in a Motorhome.
