Hidden Valley Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

This was fun. At first we had our doubts because you must drive 7 miles on a dirt road. Once we got there we really enjoyed our time. Great laundry facility, large and generally level sites, and lots of desert hiking. There are a lot of things to do within reasonable driving distance. We would stay here again. We camped at Hidden Valley Ranch in a Motorhome.

If you are going to Branson this is a good spot to stay. You are close enough to the shows yet far enough away. Nice level sites, quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Fall Creek Resort in a Motorhome.

Bishop's Landing RV Resort (formerly Castaways RV Park & Campground), Willis, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our time here. However, this is an older park that has not been kept up as we would have desired. You have to spend quite a bit of time to find a site large enough and level enough to handle your rig. We would stay here again. We camped at Bishop's Landing RV Resort (formerly Castaways RV Park & Campground) in a Motorhome.

Nice little family park. Owners were very friendly and helpful. The park was laid out so that if you used a pull through sites you faced your neighbors. We would stay here again. We camped at Golden Pond RV Park in a Motorhome.

The spots were narrow, the park was dirty, the management was grumpy. Oh, did I mention that we would not stay here again. We camped at Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice family park. Long pull thru sites for bigger rigs. Staff was very friendly. Although there were some long-term residents the campground was well organized to accommodate both overnighters and monthly guests. We would stay here again.
