Emigrant Springs, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Sept 17- Nice camp ground. $24/night for full hookups and FREE showers. As mentioned in other prior reviews it is next to I-84 but I consider that easy an on/off for the night stay. Good water, power and Verizon Wireless and MIFI signal. Clean restrooms and showers. Firewood for sale cheap. We camped at Emigrant Springs in a Motorhome.

La Conner Marina RV Resort (formerly Potlatch RV Resort), La Conner, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is now the La Conner Marina RV Resort, owned by the Port of Skagit County. Did not stay at park. Simply updating information and adding pictures. When entering La Conner turn right on North Third Street by large Port of Skagit County sign. (RV park is not on the sign.) Pool building was removed a few years ago. Laundry/restrooms/showers across the street. Restrooms and showers were clean. Layout of parking has not changed. We camped at La Conner Marina RV Resort (formerly Potlatch RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Toutle River RV Resort, Castle Rock, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Easy check in. Our site was dead-on level when we backed in! Well maintained campground. 1/2 mile walking trail to the Toutle River. Good Verizon MIFI reception but we used their free WIFI instead. Dog wash was great for our lab. RV wash station available, too. In addition to the nice pool and hot tub they have available two barrel type saunas available for free. Movies outside at night for the kids. Large play area at the north end of the park. Compared with some places we have previously camped, the trains at this location were not an issue to us and we barely heard the freeway from our site. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Toutle River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

County Line Park, Cathlamet, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

A bit tight but doable. There is a picnic table and a grill at each site. Watching ships going by on the Columbia river was fun. Even found a website for tracking them. Verizon MIFI signal good. Fish cleaning table with water was available. First time I noticed a campground with an AED (portable defibrillator) available nearby. We camped at County Line Park in a Motorhome.

Grayland Beach State Park, Grayland, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was easy.

Small circular loops of 10 spaces each for camping. Loops keep the vehicle speed slow making it safer for kids on bikes, IMO. Our site was at one end of the loop so we had nobody on one side of us. Roads and pads are all paved..

Restrooms although clean were of the 1960's vintage. Shower takes tokens that are available at the entrance (non-refundable)

Good Verizon MIFI service.

We were camped away from the beach but it was not a long walk to get to it. Vehicles are allowed to drive on the beach but not sure were they enter. Very enjoyable stay. We camped at Grayland Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Quileute Lonesome Creek RV Park, La Push, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Quileute Lonesome Creek is part of the Quileute Oceanside Resort (separate listing) which also includes nice cabins to rent.

Check in was easy but need they a sign to get back to the campground. (Turn after the store. Not before) Roads and parking pads are gravel. We had a back in site right on the beach. Enough room between sites to extend our awning if we had wanted but decided to keep it in as the ocean wind kept coming and going.

Small store and espresso stand available for goodies.

We did not use the restrooms or showers. Although clean, they reminded me of very small holding cells. Several clean and maintained sani-cans were also provided around the park.

Beach fires allowed for a small permit fee. We decided to visit other folks fires and chat with them instead.

We enjoyed this location very much. We camped at Quileute Lonesome Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
