Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground), Rawlins, Wyoming
Date of Stay:
March, 2018 -
$27.00
Overall Rating:
Traveling thru wyoming it was easy to find and front desk was friendly, although very slow. He was somewhat new on the job but polite and helpful. Park was sufficient for 1 night but I wouldn't want to stay more than that. Sites are small and very close to next camper. We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Acorns Resort Cabins and RV Campground, Milford, Kansas
Date of Stay:
March, 2018 -
$25.00
Overall Rating:
We have stayed at Acorns Resort many times over the past 3 years and each time the resort gets better & better. Staff very friendly & helpful. Super clean grounds. Large concrete pads with fire pits & picnic tables. Grassy sites with young trees and full service. Walk to restaurant and now building a brand new convenience store which will provide shower & laundry for guests. Beautiful views, shoreline fishing, hiking trails, large beach, boat rentals large & small. Super peaceful. Close to Ft Riley. This is our favorite spot in Kansas. We camped at Acorns Resort Cabins and RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Pontoon boat, kayak, canoe & SUP rentals. Hiking & biking trails. Sandy swimming beaches.

Jonesburg Gardens Campground, Jonesburg, Missouri
Date of Stay:
July, 2017 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
This campground has lots of potential but needs lots of TLC. Old trucks & other junk litter the entire campground, grass is overgrown and there is 2 ponds that smell bad. Lots of trees and spaces are large enough if there were some general groundskeeping done on a regular basis. Needs lots of work. They had a pool but was leary of getting into the water. We camped at Jonesburg Gardens Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Right off I 70 but nothing else around for shopping besides their store. Not much available for shopping.

Pull thru sites with 2 campers end to end required 50 ft power cords. No shade but adequate for the 3 nights stay. I would stay here again. Several of the RV sites have been used to place "cabins" on the pads. We camped at Camp Nauvoo in a Travel Trailer.

Rustic Acres RV Park, New Douglas, Illinois
Date of Stay:
July, 2017 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
The park looks nothing like the pictures on the website. There are old campers which haven't been moved for years, trash around most campers and stacked one on top of the next. There were people partying until all hours of the night (last time I went out was 3am) no one to call. Very disappointed and will not be back. We camped at Rustic Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Don't stop here, there is a nice spot just north on I-55.
