Turtle Rock RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights in a pull through campsite, plenty of rooms for 38' and tow. Had a pleasant stay, campground was very quiet and not far from Gold Beach. Short walk down to beach, didn't spend much time there as it was really windy, think that's the norm for July. I would stay here again! We camped at Turtle Rock RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Redwoods RV Resort, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Had a great stay at this park, We were back in an area where your surrounded by the big trees and no close neighbors (not all sites are). Not once did I hear my 8/10 year old say they were bored, lots of other kids in park and plenty to do from badmitten, volleyball,

tetherball, croquet, bean bag toss, ladder ball and more. They had a dog bath which was nice as we had been on road for a few weeks, 4 legged kid enjoyed the warm bath. Laundry leaves a little to be desired but everything worked. Was busy, not hard to do with only 2 wash and 3 dryers. Would look forward to staying here again but maybe in one of their cool little cabins next time if no RV. We camped at The Redwoods RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Windy Cove, Campground A, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 9 days while enjoying the Sand Dunes near by. We picked this campground blindly not knowing much as it was our 1st time. It's a little ride to Dunes by means of path on side of road that is in a 25mph zone, I felt comfortable with my kids 8/10 riding on side of road to Dunes and you probably won't be alone. If you plan on visiting during summer you better book early. Me and friends book over 4 months out and couldn't get side by side sites. Our site was up against hillside and don't get much sun do to tall trees behind you. May plan another trip to area in future and would stay here again but Dunes are small compared to our treasured Glamis Sand Dunes but still fun. Other Dunes in Area I'd like to check out next time. Pleasant stay. We camped at Windy Cove, Campground A in a Fifth Wheel.

Seven Feathers RV Park, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent campground, pulled in and within minutes we were following man in cart to campsite. We stayed a few days and had a great stay, all facilities were awesome and clean, they have a pool that is indoors. Lots of shade and great place to walk around park and enjoy all the trees. Extra parking nearby to give more room on site if needed. Didn't use shuttle to casino but they come when you call and will take you anywhere in Canyonville town we heard, not just their Casino. Will visit again if in area for sure! We camped at Seven Feathers RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful RV Resort, easy check in and escorted to site as well as being offered help to back in to fountain site. We were only stopping for a day but got there early to enjoy the great pool and being July 4th they actually did a little fireworks for guests and handed out sparklers to join in. Only regret is we didn't get to enjoy it longer. Great place!! We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Nella RV Park, Santa Nella, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Place was recommended by my folks that are pretty much full timers so we decided to book 2 nights! We thought KOA down the road was fair but this place SUCKS, if your in back of Park!! Upon arrival they had no reservation for us that I set up day before, no problem they got us a site and pleasant to work with. Got to site and drive past permanent trailers/motorhomes and some that looked to be abandoned (cob webs everywhere). Get to site and broken glass all over cement where your front door would be, had to sweep before kids could get out truck. Get set up and of course your so far out that free wifi doesn't even pop up on phones. 1st night was quiet but wake up to sprinklers watering everything but the grass, truck completely wet (in pull through space)and they run them during morning hours (6-9ish), that led to zero water pressure(got to wait to shower). Next day gone all day to have a permanent (2years) neighbor tell us we're lucky our RZR is still in camp cause it's very high theft part of park. Now the good part, can't sleep now cause I'm worried about my belongings outside that are locked up (neighbor said that doesn't stop them), his quote "it's like their personal shopping site). Heard more cuss words from surrounding neighbors, waiting for gunshots and I was loaded and ready to join in if needed. Needless to say I was on the road by 5:30am (best part of stay) just a couple hours after all the yelling and screaming stopped. 2nd worst camping experience I've ever had and I spend 50+ days a year in my 5th wheel. I don't care for KOA's but I'd go there over this place! It's HORRIBLE!! You have been warned! We camped at Santa Nella RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
