Valley of Fire State Park, Overton, Nevada

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very spacious sites with lots of space between sites too. In a beautiful setting surrounded by massive red rock formations. We stayed in the non-hookup campground which was $10 a night plus a $10 daily entrance fee. I'm not sure why they don't just say $20 a night. Lots of scenic areas with short and longer hikes. We camped at Valley of Fire State Park in a Motorhome.

JB's RV Park and Campground, Ocean Shores, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

.The current owners were very accommodating as to our request for a specific site and letting us stay 2 more days past our original reservation. The beach is close by and we could hear the ocean from our site, which we liked. We camped at JB's RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We were able to get a nice site calling one day in advance. Since this is high tourist season we didn't expect to get a site so it was a pleasant surprise that they were able to accommodate us. VERY helpful and friendly office personnel. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.

Rocky Mountain RV Park, Gardiner, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with full hookups. The attendant in the golf cart kept a close eye on everything and drove by VERY often.. It seemed a bit much to me but if there had been any problem campers, I would have been glad to see him. We camped at Rocky Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pine Near RV Park, Winthrop, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here a couple of times a year and get a 10% discount for being a returning customer. The sites are on nice green grass. The owner and/or office personnel are VERY flexible and will pretty much let you choose which ever site you prefer as long as it isn't already reserved. The owner is also very helpful in providing answers to any questions you may have about the town and surrounding areas. We camped at Pine Near RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is within walking distance to the little western town. The Old School House Brewery has live music on week-ends most of the time so it is nice to be able to walk back to the RV park after having a few cold ones.

Hells Canyon Resort, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Long, wide pull-through sites. We were given an end site with unobstructed view of the Snake River. Large concrete pad with hookups on both sides so that the RV can be parked facing either direction. Site was long enough to accommodate our 40' motorhome and toad. We camped at Hells Canyon Resort in a Motorhome.
