Byrd's Branch Campground, Elkin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We just purchased our 33' travel trailer and wanted to take it on it's maiden voyage to somewhere close enough to home but still feel like we're far away from the noise and fast paced city life we experience every day. This serene, peaceful and quaint campground fit the bill perfectly and was awesome in so many ways! The owners are extremely kind and very accommodating. They've got customer service down to a science! Our site #10 was gravel and relatively level. If you're looking for a low key, quiet campground surrounded by tons of natural beauty and the occasional sounds of mooing cows (what an added treat!!!), this is the place for you! We will definitely be staying here again! We camped at Byrd's Branch Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to visit the owner's country store across the road from the campground. The owner's have a little ice cream shop that features ice cream made by a local business which is so delicious and such a treat on a hot summer day!
