Billings Village RV Park, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights, and agree with other reviews that $50 is too high of a price for this park. Although the park is well kept, we got parked next to a permanent trailer that was old and had a foul smell, and parked so close to our motorhome that we were afraid they were going to hit our slide when opening their car door. Other than that, the wifi was excellent and we had a nice size lot with plenty of grass for our pup to enjoy. All sites are back-in, but we didn't have a problem getting our rig into our space. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sturgis RV Park , Sturgis, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here a week and toured Deadwood, Spearfish and Black Hills Forest. This park is convenient to all these areas. The lower level is all gravel and most with concrete pads. Staff is awesome! Wi-fi is probably the best we have seen in ANY park! There is a very nice grassy area that is good for walking pets that don't like doing their business on gravel! We camped at Sturgis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Red Trail Campground, Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The price includes the Good Sam discount. When checking in the lady's face would have cracked if she smiled! There are so many trees you cannot get satellite, wi-fi was just OK. The spaces are so tight we had to park our truck right against the motorhome, barely able to open our door. When making reservations I am always sure to tell them we have a 44' motorhome with tow vehicle to make sure they can accommodate us. On the plus side, we went to the Roosevelt Nat'l Park and saw some buffalo and prairie dogs, and the Medora Musical and Dinner were fantastic! We camped at Red Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Teton Valley RV Park, Victor, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

I can't say enough great things about this park! The staff is awesome, the grounds are clean and they offer many services. This is an all gravel park, (except for the older section), so it can be a little dusty at times, but not bad. You can schedule tours in the office and on Friday nights they have grilled hamburgers outside for only $8 per person. This includes all the french fries you can eat and lemonade! We stayed in #24 first and then extended our stay and they had us move to #36. Both these spots are in the new section. If there would be anything they could improve on it would be the wifi. It is slow and comes in and out, but we had good cell service. We camped at Teton Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hillcrest Acres Campground, Bismarck, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice little campground. Clean and well kept. Adjacent to a mobile home park, but they are nice and well kept. We were in spot 11 and had good satellite reception. Wifi was mostly good, but a little slow at times. Very friendly owner and very helpful when calling in for the reservation and even came over and visited with us at our site. We camped at Hillcrest Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Governors' RV Park and Campground, Casselton, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We almost didn't stay here because of it being next to a hotel and no pictures to view of the RV park. We are so happy we stayed. The staff is great, the sites are large and the campground is clean. Most campers come in for one night and leave the next morning since it's right on I94. The wifi comes and goes so that was a little irritating, but good phone reception. They have a few pull-thru's and we were lucky enough to get here early in the day and they had plenty of spaces available. They have a huge parking lot, so if you need to unhook before coming in you have plenty of room. Gravel and grassy spots. Even though it is right on the highway, there is no road noise. They give you a 10% discount for breakfast and it was great! Better than Denny's or Ihop! We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

17 miles to Fargo which has many site seeing areas. Went to Bonanzaville and it was well worth the fee. Fargo is a large city and has plenty of shopping.

Ho-Chunk Casino Campground, Baraboo, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice, clean park. Our only complaint is that when calling for the reservation we were not told that we had to check in at the hotel before pulling in. When you are driving a 44' motorhome with a tow vehicle it is not easy to get around in parking lots. When we saw the sign we called and they said to go on in a pick a spot, then come and check in. When I went in to do that, they wouldn't let me check in because I had made the reservation in my husband's name. It was raining and I had to walk back to the park and send my husband up. When he told them the spot we were in, they said we had to move because it was already reserved. We moved and no one came in to our original spot. Frustrating! Other than that, it is a wonderful location and nice campground. We would stay here again, now that we know the rules. They need to give you this information up front though when you are calling in and making the reservation. We camped at Ho-Chunk Casino Campground in a Motorhome.

Camping Transit, Levis, Quebec

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean campground with very friendly staff. Many permanents, but very well landscaped and clean. It was a little tight making a few turns in our 44' motorhome, but not a major problem, you are escorted to your site. Large, grass spaces. They do charge for wifi which we did not pay because when we got parked I checked and the reception didn't look very strong so we just used our phone data. It's about 40 minutes to drive in to Old Quebec City, but worth the drive. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Crystal Beach Campground, New Annan, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stay here only as a last resort. This is an old park and in much need of upgrading. Many resident campers and many tents all in the same areas. No privacy and the spaces are so close that when slides are out they may be touching. We were lucky and got space B8 and had plenty of room and easy access. The road into the park is full of pot holes with very narrow roads in the park. The only upside is that we had great wifi and satellite with our Dish Network. We camped at Crystal Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Cranberry Campground, Merigomish, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 44' motorhome. Nice large sites, friendly staff and nice neighbors. The road coming in was very dusty, but easy in and easy out. Poor wifi and could not connect to our Dish Network Satellite (not sure why because there were no trees). Come prepared because it's about 20 miles to the nearest grocery store. Harding's Point Campground, Harding's Point, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights in a 44' motorhome. As the previous reviews stated, the roads are winding and narrow, not sure what would happen if meeting another rv coming in or going out, luckily it didn't happen. That being said, we enjoyed our stay here. We were escorted to our space and he even helped setting us up. The first space we were in was not good for satellite reception, so we called in the morning and asked if we could move to the next space and they said sure, and we got great reception. Yes you have to ride a ferry getting in and out of the park, but it only takes a few minutes. The park reminds us of a state park with full hook-ups and that is a setting that we like. We were on top of the hill and the spaces were very large. Our site was very level and had no problems leveling. Wifi is only in the office and did not use, we used our phone data from the site and it was great. We camped at Harding's Point Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 4 nights on our way to Canada. Very easy access right next to a large golf course. The spaces were large with good wifi and satellite reception. Mineral Springs Family Campground, Stafford Springs, Connecticut

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Cash and check only. It is a little off the highway so it is not easy off, easy on. We stayed here for one night and were parked sideways out in a field. Had plenty of room and the grass was well maintained. Did not drive in the rest of the park, we were right across from the tent camping. Only needed one night so we were satisfied, but would not stay for any length of time. No sewer and could not get satellite, 30 amp service, no wifi. The gentleman in the office was friendly and even came out to help us move some tables to so we could park. Think $45 is a little high for what you get. We camped at Mineral Springs Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Walmar Manor Campground, Dillsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

The campground has mostly permanent campers. We were only passing through and just needed one night and then get back on the road again. When coming into the park we almost changed our mind about staying, but it's actually not bad once you get in. We had a nice spacious site with good satellite service and good wifi. The park is kept nice and clean, but a little tight getting in and out. There is no office, you have to go to #9 and the lady comes out and takes your payment. She was very nice though and walked with me to pick out a site. We camped at Walmar Manor Campground in a Motorhome.

Bethpage Camp Resort, Urbanna, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge park with a water park, pool and many amenities. Would have rated a 10 except for the price. We were there for an Entegra Rally and had a wonderful time, but not return because $95.00 is too much to pay for any park. Site are grass for $85, but if you want a paved site it is $95. Had good wifi, but could not get satellite because of the trees. They do have cable. We camped at Bethpage Camp Resort in a Motorhome.
