Coastline RV Resort, Eastpoint, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We loved staying here. There are 2 sections to the campground, and although on a main road, we chose our site well, so did not have a problem with traffic noise. Our site was big, concrete pad and under a tree. The cleanest bathrooms we have ever been into. There is a great swimming pool, and at this time they are putting down a lot of new sites. We really recommend this park. We camped at Coastline RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Pesky pelican Restuarant has a great deck overlooking the water with $2 beers all day. 8 miles away is beautiful St. George's Island with the perfect white beaches and a big choice of Restuarants. We loved Paddy's raw bar, and Dr Myers. Carrabelle, about 25 mins away, has a very large grocery store. For golfers, St James is a magnificent course, about 10mins out of Carrabelle.

Three Oaks and a Pine, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If one HAS to venture to New Orleans, this is really just an ok rv park to visit. Absolutely nothing special. Although there are only 2 showers/restrooms, they are clean. Quite near the French district. We took uber which was $12. The bus was very conveniently situated opposite the park, but the quite honestly, it was a pain having to change from the bus to the city tram as we had to wait, then push our way through crowds just to get to the centre of Town. Uber is safer and quicker. There are no pull through, no tv, barely any internet, and poor water pressure. But - if you're visiting New Orleans, you won't be, hopefully, sitting in the rv. We camped at Three Oaks and a Pine in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

It's New Orleans!! Go into the city and enjoy the music. Bourbon street was filthy, smelly and overcrowded..but, that's what it's about. We took the city tram, St Charles line, to the very upmarket suburbs. En route we saw a really great looking Restaurant, so hopped off, had a great Italian meal and caught the next tram back to Canal street.

Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA, Kingsland, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped over for 3 nights. We got a great site which was wide. Although the interstate is nearby, the noise never bothered us. Huge trees offered a lot of shade. Very hospitable owners who provided a free pancake breakfast. Lots of things to occupy yourselves with. Great golf nearby, a lovely visit to Amelia Island and Jekyll Island where we took our bikes and cycled round the island. The internet was not good at all as we've seem to experience at most Koa's .. We camped at Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

All About Relaxing RV Park, Theodore, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

As you drive through the gates, you immediately see the attention to detail. The gardens are lovely, and each site gets a personalised board with your name on it. The owners are more than accommodating. The bathrooms are the cleanest we have every seen...and this is all day long. They'vve created lovely areas to just sit and have some quietness. It is a fairly new park. The only downside was no cable but the owner opened up the tv room every morning for us. We have been travelling for 11 yrs in our rv and loved this place. We were there for 3 days. Highly recommended. We camped at All About Relaxing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
