Shenandoah Valley Campground, Verona, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice family park hidden back in the woods! Roads curvy but navigable Stayed overnight and saw lots of families and children enjoying the activities. Lots of tame rabbits! Mostly trailers and 5th wheels of folks familiar with the area. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Niagara Falls KOA, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, varying levels of accommodation for big RVs. Our site did not allow us to extend our main awning due to adjacent trees. Easy entry to park, access to Niagara Falls and other Buffalo attractions. Lots of activities for children. We camped at Niagara Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Park offered Bedore Tours, which picked up at park and delivered to Niagara Falls for a variety of experiences. Very convenient and fair price. Knowledgeable guides.

Watkins Glen / Corning KOA, Watkins Glen, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $77.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very convenient to explore the many waterfalls and wineries in this area of the finger lakes. Watkins Glen is 5 miles from the park and sits at the southern edge of Lake Seneca and the town has all the necessary restaurants and stores. The park itself is a destination for families with children as it has many activities including a huge water slide ($$). It was very wet while we were there and many sites had standing water, but the park makes every effort to add gravel and maintain the area. The laundry facility was disappointing for a park of that size. We camped at Watkins Glen / Corning KOA in a Motorhome.
