Black Forest Family Camping Resort, Cedar Mountain, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly owners and were very helpful with directions to the many waterfalls. Yes, roads are narrow, dusty, and steep. Camp sites were very quiet and shaded with all hookups on both sides of the site. Only problem was the pool and office/store were too far away from the camp sites. Tried to walk to the office with my laptop to use the Wi-Fi and gave out. If you had a second vehicle this campgrounds would be fine. We camped at Black Forest Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campgrounds and owners are very friendly. Wi-Fi worked great all over campgrounds and cable TV had many channels to pick from. Hope to go back one of these days and check out their new level they are constructing. The view of the valley and mountain range in the background was beautiful. We camped at Mama Gertie's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.
