Very large sites. Nice spot across drive from river. Water level was low, but kids enjoyed exploring rocks and ankle wading. B section had very large campsites. Had activities on weekend (tie dye, hayrides, singers). Staff friendly. Although doesn't have a "barking lot" they do have several grassy areas for the dogs to sniff. Only issue we had was with the bathrooms. One near our campsite was very small and had a lot of spiders. One up the trail had private bath/shower area but severe wood rot on floors. One unit had hole in floor and felt like you would fall through. Baths were clean but overall rundown. We plan on returning here.

Second visit to this park. We moved "up" to a concrete site and would never go back. Concrete was so nice to not have to deal with sand, fire ants and kids stayed dry in the tent when it rained. Only reason I gave a 9 is the bathrooms. They clean them at 7:30 and it's prime time for needing to use when you wake up and the bathrooms are needing some updating. A/C made it very cold to shower and floors never looked completely clean with the tired tile. Amenities abound and this is an awesome park for children (pools, skateboard park, shuffle board, play grounds, planned activities).

This is a spotless campground. The showers, especially ones near the laundry were hardly used and were immaculate. The staff was super friendly. There is an awesome pier on river, amenities for kids (playground, tether ball, swimming pool) and the dog park was an incredible surprise. To have a grassy fenced area and other fenced area with doggy exercise equipment was such a treat for our dog. Dog parents were very respectful and area was clean. The Camp store has lounge area with games and free coffee. Only issue we had was why we were charged for kids AND charged another $15 a night for the boys to sleep in their tent. We would have all slept in camper if we knew we were going to be charged $75 extra for 3 nights of boys sleeping in their tent. (equals $25 extra per night with $10 for 2 kids and then $15 for tent). I think either one charge or another (people or tent) but not both. We could have rented 2 lots and it would have only cost $5 more and would have been worth the space so each site would have 1 adult, 1 child and no additional fees for pup tent. The staff was very receptive to my inquiry over pricing and suggested I follow up with owners, which I will.

Nicest park we've stayed at so far. Recently undergone renovations with fresh landscaping, larger sites (they took like 30 away to spread people out), updated bathrooms, clean laundry and fresh gravel on roads and sites. Staff was super friendly, amenities very nice: pool, fishing pond, rec hall, play area, outdoor movies, hay rides, ice cream socials...kids wanted to just hang out at camp :-) Only issue is they still need to repair concrete deck area around pool as it is rough in spots but pool itself is sparkling.

We booked off the of the internet for Thanksgiving holiday. We were totally impressed with operation. There were activities even in the off season for the kids (breakfast with Santa, bingo, karaoke, church services) and the staff was so friendly. I'm not sure where the last reviewer stayed, but EVERYONE here waves, says hello and starts of conversations. We needed duct tape, 5 mins later someone showed up as our neighbor radio'd them. Thanksgiving night another neighbor brought us a nice table cloth to "fancy up our picnic table" for our dinner. Campers are friendly, trusting and make the experience worth it. The park is pristine, no trash, bathrooms were heated and always clean. We already booked to go back this summer and the kids are so excited to partake in the outdoor pools and beach.

We were shocked about how nice the campground is now that KOA has taken it over. Pool and grounds were immaculate. Great location, very close to the beach. It was tough, however, to have to wait in line to use the bathroom, only 3 stalls for women, I wish they would expand or build another bathroom facility. We will definitely stay there again.

This was our first time to campsite and we were spoiled! Park was incredible...clean, decorated for Holiday, attendees very attentive. Only issue was that "heated pool" was a brisk 70, if that. They told us they were waiting on a propane delivery. It was unseasonable warm, so kids didn't mine but few adults would swim. We plan on returning every July 4th. Visit Butts on the Creek restaurant down the road (walking distance)...it was delicious and a change from camp food!

We had a double lot, $20x2 = $40 a night. We only went for weekend so bathrooms were tolerable. Bath houses did not have soap nor lighting during day and could have been cleaner. We will return to campsite again. We had campsite that had short footpath (15 feet) to lake which was great.
