We only stayed overnight. We got a full hookup, pullthru site. What a blessing! The site was not level. The site was a dirt/gravel mix. But, the restrooms/shower facilities were spotless, our trash was picked up from our site in the morning, the front desk was beyond hospitable. Can't ask for too much more. Thank you. We camped at South Llano River RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Must drive around a mountain to get to this resort. Roads are a bit narrow. Please drive slow. Very dusty, sites not groomed. Irregular site sizes. A mouse got into our coach.
Friendly folks all over. Huge, clean laundry room. Nice bar, good food. Well stocked store. Great presentation: no pressure to buy. Stayed 5 nights. We camped at Emerald Cove Resort in a Motorhome.
Nice bar and grill down the road. Good pizza!

Stayed at this campground for two months. We paid our rent and electric. Very dusty with non-paved roads throughout. There are no activities at this park. The clubhouse was never open while we were there. There are snacks and cold drinks for sale at the office. There's also wine for sale but it looks very old. All went well at this park until it was time to leave. We were unable to get our $100.00 deposit back. We thought it was for electric, but our credit card was charged for both months (without our consent) and the deposit was still a credit. We later found out the park put our site on hold while we were gone for two weeks, and felt we should pay even though we gave it up when we left and started a new rental when we returned. We liked the site we were on and had asked in advance if it would be available when we returned, and the answer was yes. We never asked for it to be held. Our first attempt at communication with owners was met with hostility and disrespect. We have yet to settle with this campground. I would encourage anyone reserving sites here to not use your credit cards, because you may find yourself in a dispute either with rent or perhaps electric fees. We have contacted the BBB in Arizona and filed a complaint. We camped at Wild West Ranch and RV Resort (formerly John Wayne RV Ranch) in a Motorhome.
Situated between Maricopa and Casa Grande - closer to Maricopa. Both cities have all amenities including Walmarts and many places to shop and eat. Ak-Chin/Harrahs Casino and Entertainment Center is 10 minutes away toward Maricopa. It includes a movie theatre. There are dairy farms very nearby and the stench can be unbearable depending on wind direction.

We've been coming to this RV park for many years. This year was quite different. The RV park office no longer operates. You must park your RV in back of the casino and register at the hotel desk. Trash pickup was a problem everyday ( we were there for 8 days). Everyday we had to call the hotel to get someone to pick it up. The park was far from full, but each site leaves their trash out, so all those trash bags baking in the sun for hours wasn't good. The fields surrounding the area were being plowed and the dust was so thick, it left all the vehicles in the area with a thick layer of the stuff, and we couldn't sit outside without being covered with dust because of the wind. This went on for the majority of our 8 day stay. I went to the pool/gym area everyday, and everyday I had to go to the hotel desk to get someone to unlock the area even though it was well past the opening time of 8am. The sewer dump on our site clogged. When we called to report it, we were told we had to move to another site to dump. We were able to dump enough to keep from having to move off the site. Pulling out on our last day, we went to the main sewer dump by the gate. To our dismay, this dump was clogged as well. We had already hooked up our vehicle, so we maneuvered our RV very close to an empty site, connected two sewer hoses and ran this to a working sewer dump. So very disappointed in what used to be one of my favorite RV parks! I must say, however the sites are spacious and level and very clean. The wi-fi, cable, and satellite reception was very good, as was the 50 amp and water. Check your sewer before setting up!!! Pull around the back of the casino to park while checking in, or if you arrive early or late in the evening. There's plenty of room back there. There's no grilling at your site, but there are plenty of paved gazebos with picnic tables and grills very near the sites. You will have full access to the indoor pool and gym, and the casino during your stay. Ask for pool access card when checking in. Will have to think about our trip next year... We camped at Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Park in a Motorhome.
The casino itself was disappointing with no roulette during the week. The casino floor was never really full, which explained why the winnings were few. The buffet hours are shorter than I remember as well.

Pros: Allows campfires, has a pool/jacuzzi, and workout room with a good variety of machines, quiet park Cons: The grounds need LOTS of work! The grounds are mostly not level gravel mixed with weeds. It rained, and there was mud and puddles all over. The grass needs cutting. The building landscaping is a mess. The "beach" is sand and weeds. Front desk staff double booked our site, but resolved it very graciously - thank you. No literature provided on area eateries, shopping, entertainment, etc. Our first time back here since new ownership. Nice folks, but LOTS of work to do on this property. PS, it appeared that non-camping guests were allowed to use the facilities....(?) We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Motorhome.
On the RV park property, there is a Best Western hotel, and a bowling alley, and there use to be a movie theatre, too. There are at least 2 apple orchards in the area, fast food, gas station. The Midland Mall is one exit up (122) with Kohls, Bed Bath, Beyond, Pier One, etc. There's also Walmart, Lowe's, Target, Home Depot, etc, at same exit off I-10. However, if you're not local, you don't know these things. We will come back, because overall, it's a pleasant place to camp.
