Vogel State Park, Blairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park many times and have always found the staff and facilities to be great. Vogel has a beach, rental boats and fishing along the main lake. There are creeks and streams to enjoy, puttputt golf, play grounds and a nice camp store.

Campsites are nice size and most are private. They have 3 areas to camp in based on equipment. Tent only, rv sites and an area for pop ups and tents which can also accommodate smaller trailers: this area is serviced by a narrow road which limits the length of your unit more so than the actual camp site. We have camped in this area with an 18' Burro pulled by a standard pickup. I'd say nothing larger than this, in this area. We camped at Vogel State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Blairsville, it's only 20 minutes away and has good grocery stores, lots of small shops in downtown to visit and multiple restaurants . This is a wonderful place to use for your base camp when visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains.
