Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet, tiered layout. Easy big rig access. It's a gem for sure. Laid back, no tv, lots of dusty trails weave in throughout the park, no grass in the sites we stayed in. Great family vacation place, stuff for kids to do. Not much in St. Regis, but great get away from it all. Pizza/Eateries near by. While the people in the office are very nice, I think the office is not well organized. They kept telling us you'll be in this site and then switching it, but each time no one was in those sites at night. I honestly think they want you to think the place is in great demand. But it was not ever half full all the nights we stayed there. Plus, they are very enamoured with big fancy rigs. Always telling you this rigs was here and that fancy rig was here last night. But I never saw anything like they described. It did not impress me. I think they are new at this. But I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again and for an week or two when we can. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

On the river leading into Coeur d' Alene lake. Family friendly, not really much grass. What's' there needs water. Trees are mostly small so not much shade for now. You'll see green grassy areas, mostly reserved for the entrance, along the roads, to look good. But, there is easy access for big rigs. Spots are angleds, so if you have neighbors your don't stare into each others rigs. You should know the hookups are sort of toward the middle of your rig, not near the back. We always come prepared with longer cords, cuz we're used to it. Noisy over by the beach, but those are also the best spots (with trees/grass/shade). Very hard to get though. Close by shopping/city, larger has everything. Not to mention the gorgeous Lake. Couer d' Alene is cosmopolitan due to the California influx of people. But still it's Idaho, folksy good people. Plus well known steakhouse very near by, The Cedars, it's a long walk but do able. Reservations recommended for sure. Nice walking around the park with our dogs. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travellers Rest, Darby, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet, small (like 6 spaces + cabins). Very nice people, like staying at your folks place only with hook ups. Shade, everything you'd need. Walking distance to a restaurant, town/shops very quaint. Very laid back, fantastic views. Nothing fancy but felt like coming home to old friends. Will definitely be going back for a longer stay next time. We camped at Travellers Rest in a Motorhome.
