Rest-a-While RV Park, Hoodsport, Washington

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this little park. Had not planned to stop here, but decided we needed a break when we stumbled across it. Got a pull thru with an unobstructed view of the canal out the front windows. Everyone we met at the park was friendly and helpful. 50 amp. Full Hookups. Verizon was 8 up and 8 down. WiFi was 24 down and 8 up. My husband says that is really good. Lol. Some folks have noted the highway noise. We never noticed it. The one thing I disliked was how tight the sites are. Not a problem this time of year, but if they were full, it could get a bit crowded. We enjoyed our overnight and will definitely be back. We camped at Rest-a-While RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Sky RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

What a gem of a place. Sites were a little tight, but pretty green grass at each one. Right across the street from the creek and the trail that leads to Washoe Park in one direction and down to the Historic Old Works trail the other way. Quiet, peaceful, FHU, pet friendly, 50 amp, good Verizon coverage. My husband needs good Internet for work and had no problems. DTV worked well. Happy campers and permanents throughout the park. Feels like a community. Occasional get togethers that everyone enjoyed. But what makes this park over and above is the owner. A genuine all around nice guy. Hard working. Will help with anything! Our slide needed repair. He went out of his way to assist my husband in taking care of it. He is also the Go To Guy for tourist information. He knows the area and gave us our best tips on seeing the sites. We intended to stay a week and ended up staying a month. We will definitely go back! We camped at Big Sky RV Park in a Motorhome.
