Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park, but too highly priced for the area. WIFI is $4 a day. We called to make reservations for their other campgrounds, but where told this one was the same price and brand new and nicer. They do not have all the things they advertize available yet and the price is higher than we were quoted at the Rally in Perry, GA where they had a booth. They only allow community campfire circles they have set up, but they do provide free firewood at the fire rings. The park may be nice when they finish and provide the ice cream socials and pancake breakfasts that they state they provide, but for now it is not worth $75 a night. We would not have booked it if we had known that they would charge us that much, now we are stuck with no refund if we leave. We camped at Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Cedar Haven Campground, Freeport, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Park was run down and needs major updates. It only has limited number of full hook-up sites. But out of the three parks in Freeport it is the best they have to offer. We camped at Cedar Haven Campground in a Motorhome.

Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

I called to book at this park and was booked into their sister park of Narrows Too instead. Narrows too is more expensive than the Mt. Desert Narrows and not a scenic as Mt. Desert Narrows. They stated to us the WIFI was free upon reservation, but when we arrived we were told it would cost us additional $4.00 a day. We camped at Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Carl Spindler Campground, East Peoria, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Need to make reservations during the months of June and July. They have a lot of seasonal campers that take the full hook-up sites and their larger sites. We camped at Carl Spindler Campground in a Motorhome.
