Pine Mountain RV Resort, Pine Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

There is a very nice pool area which we didn't use, but it looks great! Play area for kids and dogs, view of the neighbors farm and pond. Nice people in the check in. The spaces are ample for our 40' coach and toad. It's a little dusty and I imagine muddy if it rains. We had every intention of going back in June, but the management was too stingy with their 'special' and wouldn't allow us to use it. Sorry guys, we went to Gadsden instead! We camped at Pine Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fries New River Trail RV Park, Fries, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We are so glad we came here! Our site was right along the little stream that runs through the campground. There were kids catching crawfish, looking for frogs and just generally loving nature. The site is all gravel, but extremely well set up with plenty of room for us to relax outside. Owners treated us like family friends; checked in on us daily to see if we were okay. Loved it!!!! We camped at Fries New River Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

New River is two blocks away with awesome trails. Went to the Blue Ridge Music Museum - enjoy their musicians daily from 11-3. Galax is nearby with all the Walmart, etc you can handle. Creek Bottom Brewery is fun for lunch.

Rocky Top Campground, Blountville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for an overnight on our way north. What a good place it is! This is a campground with amazing bath and showers! Very clean, very woodsy in décor and easy to get to. Didn't use the laundry but their machines looked to be brand new. We were met by the owners; escorted to our site. Great place! We camped at Rocky Top Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain Falls Luxury Motorcoach Resort (Class As Only), Lake Toxaway, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

This is a resort in all ways possible. Golf, swim, bike, etc and the lots are exceptional. Courteous, helpful, friendly staff. Trash pickup daily. Quiet. Waterfall. On the Ridge you can see forever, off the Ridge is a bit wooded but not so much as to interfere with satellite if you want to use it. We camped at Mountain Falls Luxury Motorcoach Resort (Class As Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cashiers is nearby - if you like touristy stuff! Brevard not too far away and good food there (and breweries). There is some construction going Hwy 64, but really it wasn't a problem, just watch yourself - its only 2 miles. Ate at the Falls and it was wonderful. Lots of side trips near! Wish I could be treated so personally all the time - staff here is outstanding.

Bald Mountain Camping Resort, Hiawassee, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very large campground, but quiet and very friendly staff. We stayed on Overlook and actually it was a bit difficult to get into our spot. Other than that, no complaints! This area is lovely and easy to get to from Atlanta! We camped at Bald Mountain Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
