Buffalo Run Campground, Island Park, Idaho
Date of Stay:
August, 2017 -
$38.00
Overall Rating:
It's close to several things...Herriman State Park, Mesa Falls, Yellowstone is probably and hour away. We enjoyed kayaking the river. The showers were old and needed updating. Good spot for one night. Good for one night stop. This is a Ma and Pa business and with a little TLC it would be a lot better. We camped at Buffalo Run Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Drive north a few miles and eat at Cafe Sabor! Delicious!!

Livingston / Paradise Valley KOA, Livingston, Montana
Date of Stay:

$55.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here in a 35 ft 5th wheel. The roads were REALLY tight. In order to get into our site, we had to climb a little hill and make a tight turn. Once on top of the little hill, our site was nice and level! The bathroom floors were always muddy. The best thing about this place is the staff and the Yellowstone River! A member of the staff gave us information on where to launch our kayaks and offered to shuttle us back to our truck! That was sooo nice! We camped at Livingston / Paradise Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Make sure you spend time on the Yellowstone River...fishing, kayaking or rafting! It's right outside your door!

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana
Date of Stay:
August, 2017 -
$73.00
Overall Rating:
We have stayed here many times and the staff is great! The shower houses are always clean and you are close to Yellowstone National Park. The best sites are usually full of Class A rigs, but the spacing is much better in those sites! No fires here, because the town won't allow them. Sites are level, which is always great! We will be back! We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Try eating at Gushers or Pete's Pizza! Yummy!
