Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $150.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at Beverly Beach every December for the last four years. We come back for the beach in the winter. Cannot get much closer to the water and the view from the front window is gorgeous. That being said sites are really really close and last year when facing a motor home our neighbors had literally put mosquito netting on our side. Awnings almost touch and the space behind is hard to even walk through to hook up. It can get a little territorial there. The facilities are good and fairly clean. Store has a lot of stuff to be so small. The beach is the draw here and if you are willing to pay the dollars you will not be disappointed if its the view that interests you. We camped at Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Townsend / Great Smokies KOA, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $138.00
Overall Rating:

This is our third visit to this campground. With each visit we have noticed improvements to campsites with landscaping added each time. We have twice stayed on the river sites which are great because you can sit outside and watch the rafters and fishermen pass by. Tubes can be rented at office and you can make a trek just about 2 miles up the road and swim and enter for a float in one of the best swimming holes in the Smokies. The only downside is the rates are a little pricey so this has to be our one splurge trip per year and the bathrooms cleanliness might be rated closer to a seven than 10. We camped at Townsend / Great Smokies KOA in a Motorhome.

Manistique Lakeshore Campground, Manistique, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We happened upon this new campground when unable to find a spot in Munising to visit pictured rocks. This campground is brand new, spotless bathhouse and Laundromat. Right on shore of lake Michigan with trails leading to the water. You could hear waves at night. Huge fire pits with grates for grilling. All sites had concrete pad, roads paved. We had back in site but they had several pull through sites that looked excellent. Right off scenic Hwy 2 in Michigan was worth drive to Munising to stay in an upgraded and clean park. Not many places to eat in town but Jack's Fresh Market had lots of pre-made grilling and dinner choices. If traveling through I would stay here again. We camped at Manistique Lakeshore Campground in a Motorhome.
