Detroit Greenfield RV Park, Ypsilanti, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very crowded, lots of trees making it hard to move around. They tried to put us on a site we would have had to backed into between trees then we wouldn't have had room to park the truck. No grass or pavement on the lot we had just dirt. The trees were nice didn't have to use awning. Nice lake, beach area and the store and staff were very nice. We probably would not camp here again. We camped at Detroit Greenfield RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wonderful newer park. Highlight of our vacation. Laid out nicely, large lots, great pool and beach area. Beautiful island with wooden bridges leading to it. Great store, nice staff. Even has a room where you can use computers. Pet friendly. The area surrounding the campground is very nice lots of parks where you can see Lake Huron. Will return to camp here again! We camped at Lake Huron Campground in a Motorhome.

Frankenmuth Jellystone Park, Frankenmuth, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Hard to describe. Has a wonderful indoor pool, seems like alot of activities for kids. Wonderful helpful staff. Close to all the Frankenmuth activity. But the sites are extremely close. Thank goodness they weren't busy so no one parked on either side of us. There wouldn't have been enough room to set a picnic table from the edge of our awning to the next lot. Probably will not return. We camped at Frankenmuth Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground. We camped in one of the pull-thru sites; our daughter and some friends camped in tents across the street. Our grandkids loved the trail. Very nice pool, extremely clean showers, etc. We will go again!! We camped at Columbus Woods-N-Waters in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed in the ocean area. Very nice campground, beach and pools. Seemed to have a lot of entertainment. Lots of golf carts!! We stayed for 6 days, only trouble was the weather, as it was cold and rainy, but no one can control that. Would consider staying again. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Outdoor Resorts / Gatlinburg, Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting! Great landscaping. Nice pools. One of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Only problem was backing in, the person across the street had a big truck hanging out in the road and we had a hard time getting around it. Wish we lived closer would consider parking permanently. We could only stay one night but are hoping to return in the fall. We camped at Outdoor Resorts / Gatlinburg in a Fifth Wheel.
