They take "reservations" but do not reserve spots. Two families with 5 kids traveled 4 hours to camp together and were assured 3 weeks before when making the reservation, that getting spots together would not be a problem. That did not happen! Oyster shell beaches and shark infested waters. No bike trails. However, the staff were nice and polite. The locals are great. If you like scalloping, this is the place to be in July and August. The Raw Bar is a must stop. The steamed shrimp, stuffed shrimp, and baked oysters were fabulous! Presnell's Bayside Marina is closer to town with most sites on the water.

Loved this place. Cute tiki huts on the beach. Pier for fishing. The pool was nice and they were draining it to paint it the day we left. Cute little playground in the shade. Roads were paved for riding bikes. Walmart is across the street if you need anything. This place is located on the Santa Rosa Sound. I did not have to worry about the large waves of the gulf. It was shallow water with cute little hermit crabs. Had a blast.

Great paved roads and sites. Very organized and friendly staff. Multiple pools and obviously the beach is great. Pizza Delivery across the street. Centrally located. Be sure to check out their Soft Serve Ice Cream machine in the recreation hall!! My kids loved it at $1.00 a cone.

Staff very friendly. Boat spaces available. Access to lagoon and Gulf of Mexico. Great community grills on the water under a patio with a ceiling fan and great big swing. We had a great time. This was our second time to camp here.
