Bonanza Campground & RV Park, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We had water and electric site and it was very spacious actually parked our pop up sideways to provide a bit more privacy. Overall is a decent place to stay a few nights and hit the water parks ($10 for wristband good for your entire stay at Noah's Ark). The full hookup sites did look far too cramped but our spot was overall very good. Skip the full hookups and go for the Water/Electric sites for far more room. We camped at Bonanza Campground & RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Dunewood Campground (NPS Campground), Beverly Shores, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Only stayed one night but it was a very nice campground. We arrived late and had some trouble figuring out which sites were open as a number were taken but had no tag hanging on the pole. The host was very helpful and was able to give me a list of sites we could use that would fit our pop up. Site was very convenient to bath house, which had multiple private separate showers. The mosquitoes were pretty bad when we arrived, a screened enclosure would be a good thing to pack. We camped at Dunewood Campground (NPS Campground) in a Tent Trailer.

Bellefonte / State College KOA, Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was nice and fairly secluded, however, a number of sites near the bottom of the hill looked quite cramped. We were only staying one night as we were passing through however the kids thoroughly enjoyed the scavenger hunt and the pancake breakfast. They also have a very nice camp kitchen set up for tent campers with sinks and grills under a shelter. There showers at the top of the hill are very new and all are completely private and clean. It was a bit expensive when traveling with 7 (~$68 for one night) but can tell the owners take pride in their campground. We camped at Bellefonte / State College KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Mosquito Lake State Park, Cortland, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Seems like a very nice park, only downside would be the one shower house with flush toilets. Only stayed one night as we were passing through but am tempted to stay here again for a longer stay, it sounds like there are a number of water activities available for rent (kayak, sup, etc).

Spot was good for the night but it may have been different if someone was in the site next to us. Positive of being in open section is we could see the kids at the playground from our site so they could get some energy out while we set up. We camped at Mosquito Lake State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Rock Cut State Park, Loves Park, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Overall nice campground. Great site aside from neighbor who set up his tent on our site. It was close to showers and bathrooms which was great for our kids. There was a dumpster near by that we were worried about, but it went unnoticed. There was good separation (bushes and trees) between next site except at the very end, the tent next door went up less than 8 feet from our fire ring. We were just staying the night passing through, but would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Rock Cut State Park in a Tent Trailer.
