Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

In general a nice place. You get a different crowd of campers at the horse park (people who are there to ride horses.. not necessarily campers). Site was not level and no sewers is a pain but dump stations are easily accessed. Swimming pool is great and lots of lifegaurds. Major problem is that you need a ride to the horse park and the shuttle only runs at 8:45am and 12:30. Any other time means you need to unhook and drive your rig. This policy needs to be updated! Shuttles should run all the time. Horse park itself is awesome. Someone took our table cloth and door mat during the day so be careful and put your stuff away! We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Access to Bryce is what this park is all about. It is a hike to the general store and restaurant but worth the trip. Good food and an amazing store (Prices are very high though). A lot of ATV's but they were all polite folks and kept very quiet. The pool was too crowded to use as a teenage camp was visiting. We would definitely come back! We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Watchman Campground (NPS Campground), Zion National Park, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground but with very limited amenities. Bathrooms have no lights and of course no showers or even soap. Loop A is very close to the shuttles and to the grocery store & visitors center. Site was very large and close to level with a barbecue pit and table. We camped at Watchman Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Brigham City / Perry South KOA, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $33.00

Run down and needs some improvements. Lots of travel trailers and nothing to tow them with. I did not feel very safe at this place. The pool was ok. Owners were friendly. Back in spaces were very tight. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Motorhome.

Branson Shenanigans RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This place is great. It is a peaceful haven in a hectic town. The people that work here and live here (run the place) are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. Only thing missing was a pool for the kids but the beautiful private restrooms and showers were a major plus! The sites are plenty big and level. We camped at Branson Shenanigans RV Park in a Motorhome.

Can you say "BUGS" .. So many gnats and flies you couldn't open your mouth without them going in. Dusty campground but clean where it counts. Would stay for overnight if I had to but would rather just truck on next time. We camped at Mitchell KOA in a Motorhome.

Mountain Meadow RV Park, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This park is great. Even though the wireless only works down by the office and there is no pool the serenity of each campsite makes up for it. The bathrooms were immaculate (including showers). Location to West Glacier and other attractions is perfect. Friendly hosts and lots of friendly campers. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Decent KOA for an overnighter. Some seedy looking guests but a terrific pool and splash area. Sites were close together but with a patio and swing which was very nice. We camped at Bozeman Hot Springs Campground (formerly Bozeman KOA) in a Motorhome.
