Cedar Lake Campground, Dover, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at, the grounds were impeccable, beautiful lake, nice pool, clean grounds overall, the staff was incredibly friendly, activities for both adults and kids. The staff seemed to always be working to improve on something and could not do enough to help you out, stopped by our site a few times just to make everything was ok. Awesome, we will most certainly be back again! Manager Jaron was fabulous and Bonnie at the desk was most friendly as was the activities director!. Can't say enough good things. Seems they plan some upgrades as well. We camped at Cedar Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

We do love this campground, however, the price seems to be continually going up. We camp here at least twice a year and it is frustrating that they charge a resort fee on top of the base fee, and in the cooler months there seems to be no reason for (no pool) even in summer there is really only the pool and a jumping pillow, and those only apply to certain people. Seems to me they are driving quite a few people away from their campground. Used to be around $60 a night now its closer to $80 and you don't get anything more for your money, we have started going other places now. We camped at Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA in a Travel Trailer.
