Sycamore Grove Campground, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice location away from the highway along the river. Sites all seemed large enough with many trees. We camped at Sycamore Grove Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Richardson Grove State Park, Garberville, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very beautiful campground. There were not many campers so we were able it use a very large handicapped site so we didn't have to disconnect. We stayed only 1 night. The only down side was they charged for each dog, ( It is California) I have 3 and it's dry camping. Campground has 3 sections, one by the river. We will use again. We camped at Richardson Grove State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cape Blanco State Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights. Beautiful site under trees. Each site seemed private with fairly good space between each site. There are sites for tents and RVs sized for each. Lovely trail to beach and to light house. We camped at Cape Blanco State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sequoia RV Ranch, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The pictures on the website are very misleading. Stayed overnight in a pullthru site. We were unable to open our slide-out due to the narrow sites. The electrical was inconsistent. When ac kicked in the TV screen temporarily went blank. Office shut down at 3:00. The lady I spoke with was very nice and she instructed me to use the envelope for payment. There was only 1 available and it was still very early. The dump site advertised was located next to camp sites. We had to park in front of 2 to be able to use it. While RV park is by the river, I must say overall appearance is grim. The website said each site had a grassy area. It was never found. The "fire pit" was located almost on the road. I'm very glad we stayed only one night. A lesson learned. State parks are the places to stay. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.
