Not a "destination" park with lots of planned activities but a beautiful quiet time in the woods. We stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed it very much. The nightly cost is based on the weekly rate. The family who own and run the park are very friendly, nice and interesting. Only cash or check for payment. Would return next time in VT. We camped at Tree Farm Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
There are so many interesting things to see and do in VT. Vermont Country Store and a playhouse in Weston. King Arthur Flour, store, and classes in Norwich. Woodstock - country market, Woodstock Inn. Plymouth Notch the boyhood home of Calvin Coolidge the oath of office was given by his father JP by the light of an oil lamp. Etc., Etc., Etc. You could spend all summer in VT. Like to hike, the Long Trail (279 miles long) is not far away (see Green Mountain Club).
