James M. Robb - Colorado River State Park / Island Acres Section, Palisade, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 1 night. Was hoping for good showers - not only do they cost $1.00 for 4 min. they were less than inviting. The laundry was also not very inviting but functional. Sites are well spaced and the walking trail along the river is nice. There is an additional $7.00 a night fee at the entrance. We will stay here again. We camped at James M. Robb - Colorado River State Park / Island Acres Section in a Motorhome.

Heaton Bay/ White River National Forest, Frisco, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 1 night in a Class A with a tow. There is no campground sign from the frontage road. Just a small blue sign for tent camping. We had to disconnect our tow to turn around and go back. Campground seemed really nice but we didn't wander around to much. Loved the Rocky Mountain Bible Church on Sunday. We camped at Heaton Bay/ White River National Forest in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Resort, Canon City, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

The park is delightful. The owners/operators were very helpful with our reservation and greeted us in the drive when we arrived. We extended our stay with no problem. The showers are the best! Our site was a pull in site facing an open pasture allowing us to leave the front curtains open to enjoy the morning sunrise. Tow vehicle parking is separate and right next to the RV. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Motorhome.
