Drifters Resort, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We thought this was a great park. The sites were a little tight, but we had plenty of room for our slides and all. We used the park as a base camp to explore the area. We also rented one of the Cabana's and thought they were not only nice, but a great option for us since we brought one of our son's friends along so we needed the extra room. Everything worked as advertized and the amenities were perfect. If we were to take the camper down again, this would be the place we will stay. We camped at Drifters Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Stevenson State Park, Garrison, North Dakota

This is one of the best state parks we have been to. We use the full hook up sites and really enjoy the large sites. We camped at Fort Stevenson State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Downstream Campground COE, Riverdale, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The only reason we didn't rate it 10 was the lack of full hook up's. This is a really nice park with great shade. It would be nice if they would work a little harder on slowing some of the other visitors down, but you can't put the blame on the volunteers for poor behavior of "guests". We camped at Downstream Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain View Campground, Sullivan, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $32.00

We moved to this park from Mainayr CG because of the issues we had with that park. The folks here were fantastic to deal with, accommodated our needs and were extremely friendly. The location of the CG was great for visiting area locations and the kids absolutley loved the access to the beach. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area. We camped at Mountain View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Mainayr Campground, Stueben, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $30.00

We had traveled from the mid-west to visit family and had to move after two of the 10 nights we had booked because the water (was told before arrival that everything was ready) was not on and would not be for at least a day. This "day" turned into multiple days but we were offered a "pail" if we needed more water. We did have power and sewer, but without water available, our basic needs could not be met. I can say that not only do we not recommend this campground, we will never return to it. We camped at Mainayr Campground in a Travel Trailer.
