Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $84.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 2nd time here, and it certainly won't be our last! The place is clean with great amenities, and it's nice and QUIET at night! It seems a bit pricey, but every better place is in season, and it still beats hotel rates!! We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Carowinds Camp Wilderness Resort, Charlotte, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We only live 10 minutes away but needed to try everything in our new trailer before we're off to Savannah next week, so we stayed the night. What a great location and nice place! We used to overnight here on the way to Florida 20 years ago; we'd definitely recommend it!! Nice lot sizes (I think I picked us the biggest). There are quite a few permanent sites, but there's still plenty of room for the traveler. Everything was clean, and the staff was very friendly. This is the best location if you're going to Carowinds or just checking out the many things to do in the Charlotte area; there are so many things to do in the near vicinity. We camped at Carowinds Camp Wilderness Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Besides Carowinds amusement park, which is right next door (a tram takes you there), the area has grocery stores, a mall, restaurants and a flea market nearby. Easy highway access, as well!

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

We got to squeeze in 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer! This campground was spotless, and the staff was really friendly. The amenities are really nice, even though we didn't use the pools because we spent our time on the beach. We absolutely plan on going here again. We also appreciated that the campground was nice and quiet at night, unlike some of the others we've stayed at. We're very pleased. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Tanger outlets are 2 minutes away, and the nicest and best stocked Walmart we ever saw! Great beach in the campground, so didn't need any other entertainment.
