Ramblin' Pines Campground, Woodbine, Maryland

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 10 days and got weekly rate for first week, then daily. We wanted to stay longer, but they are booked in advance on weekends for Halloween activities. Location is excellent for visiting family, so we want to come back for a month next fall, but they won't take the reservation more than a month in advance, in case they have the opportunity to rent the space long-term. We get the impression that they are trying to transition into a trailer park instead of a campground, and that they don't really want campers like us but will take us if there is a vacant space. Very disappointing, as there is nothing else available in this immediate area. We like it here and would definitely come back, but it's hard to plan when they won't take our reservation. I rated Ramblin' Pines as 7 for this reason; otherwise, I would have rated it as 10. We camped at Ramblin' Pines Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Chestnut Ridge Park, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We were planning to stay here one night on our way east, but our truck broke down, so we were here in our 26' travel trailer, while it was being repaired. Other reviews will give you more details about the campground.

The campground is lovely and the showers are clean and extremely nice, but our primary experience was with the great staff, who did all they could to help us and even stopped by our campsite to check on us. Price is $28 for one night, but $24 if you stay multiple nights, so we paid $48 for two nights. We camped at Chestnut Ridge Park in a Travel Trailer.
