Nice rustic place to stay. We stayed in a large pull-through with full hookups and 50 amp electric and lots of trees. Wi-Fi worked great. A nice stocked store with a cafe. Our $27 rate was Good Sam weekly rate. We would stay here again. We camped at Trapper Creek Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shady Acres RV Park & Campground, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The roads and sites are gravel. Some sites have grass between sites. The WIFI signal was strong at our site, but internet was unusable. The site I was on was large enough for my 40' motorhome and Jeep tow car without unhooking. I would stay here again. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice clean park. Sites are concrete and interior roads are blacktop. The $37 rate was based on a 2 week stay. I would have rated the park a 10 except for a really screwed up Wi-Fi system and the narrow sites. I was in the section that has parking pads beside the RV space. My bedroom slide missed hitting my neighbor’s tow truck by 2 inches. We camped here in a motorhome and would stay here again. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Overall, it is a nice park. We have stayed here before in years past. Park maintenance needs to be addressed. Dogs are supposed to be on leashes but there were a number of dogs running around without a leash. Our small dog (14 lbs) was attacked by a much larger dog while the owner screamed at the attacking dog. I also noticed that a number of pet owners did not pick up after their dog had done their business. The power and water hookups were good. The Wi-Fi sucked. It was up and down like a yo-yo. The desk clerk said it must be my problem since no one had complained. I talked to other campers about the problem and they said they also had problems with the Wi-Fi. It is an easy in/out for a big rig. I guess we would stay here again. The rate quoted was a discounted rate. We stayed here for 2 weeks. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA, Sallisaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean park with easy access to I-40. Hookups and WIFI were ok. Roads were gravel that could use some patching. The only complaint we had was that the grass areas were over-run with very small ticks. My wife and dog had a number of them that required a difficult removal process because they were so small. I would not stay there again. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

Calloway RV and Campground, Hammond, Louisiana

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old former KOA that needs a lot of work. The roads were made for 20' long RVs. We had a 40' with a tow car and had a hard time getting out of the place. The power, sewer hookup, and water pressure were acceptable. We would not stay here again. We camped at Calloway RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Very nice clean RV park located on the bank of the Mississippi River. Interior roads are gravel so it can get dusty. Good satellite and cell signals. Water pressure and electric power were good. We would stay here again. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Titusville / Cape Kennedy KOA, Mims, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is an old, tired KOA that needs some updates. The internal streets are very narrow with a lot of large trees next to the roads which makes maneuvering a large rig difficult. Park rules are not enforced. I was walking my small dog (14 lbs) on a leash when she was attacked by my neighbors a large dog that was not on a leash. A KOA employee talked to my neighbor about keeping their dog on a leash but they didn’t. If you want to stay in the area you might try the Seasons in the Sun RV Resort that is located next to this KOA. Same price but much nicer looking. We camped at Titusville / Cape Kennedy KOA in a Motorhome.

Country Gardens RV Park, Odessa, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean small park. We had a concrete pad. Good Wi-Fi. Right off I-70, but no road noise. The reason I did not give a higher rating was because of the access road from I-70. It was a mess with large pot holes. I would stay here again. We camped at Country Gardens RV Park in a Motorhome.

Limon KOA, Limon, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were gravel with dead grass between sites. Roads in park were full of potholes which caused my coach to rock back and forth severely. I don't think I would stay there again. Their rates were too high. For $40 I could stay in a motel down the street and use their sheets. We camped at Limon KOA in a Motorhome.

Gunnison KOA, Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Park was clean. Sites were grass/mud. Units shared water & sewer connections, Our unit was so close to my neighbor's unit I could not open my awning. I also thought the rates were too much for services received. We camped at Gunnison KOA in a Motorhome.

Centennial RV Park and Campground, Montrose, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Sites are gravel with a grass area that is shared with your neighbor. We stayed here for a month. We park our motor home here and then roam some of the great 4X4 jeep trails that are close by. The park is about 10 miles south of Montrose. It is also near Ouray, Silverton, Durango and Telluride. The $19 daily rate is based on the monthly rate. We camped at Centennial RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Hospitality Woods RV Park, Ellsworth, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A nice small clean RV park. Sites and interior roads are gravel. Good 50 amp power, WiFi worked 99% of the time, and site T-6 was clear of trees so our satellite dish worked. The owners/managers were gone most of the time but that did not cause any problems for us. The location of the park is away from the noise and crowds. We camped here for a week in a big rig. The only complaint I have: there is a lot of road construction going on around Ellsworth and this caused some delays. That complaint doesn’t really have anything to do with the campground. We would camp here again. The $35/day rate included discounts. We camped at Hospitality Woods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rest N' Nest Campground, East Thetford, Vermont

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice small RV park. Lots of trees, nice swimming pool and swimming pond. Gravel interior roads. Two things forced me to rate this park low. The reasons were very poor electric power and WI-FI that bordered on being useless. We asked for 50 amp power site but all of their 50 amp spots were in use. So they directed us to a 30 amp site. If I tried to use more than 15 amps the power would go below 104 volts and our power manager would shut off the power. And over the weekend when more RV Rigs were here we could not even get enough power to run 1 air conditioner. The temperature was in the 90’s so we were not happy campers. The WI-FI ether did not work or was so slow that sometimes it would take over 5 minutes for a complete web page to appear. We stayed here for a week but would not stay here again. We camped at Rest N' Nest Campground in a Motorhome.

Clinton / Knoxville North KOA, Clinton, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park is OK for an overnight stay. The Wi-Fi was very interment and they kept blaming Comcast. This park needs a do-over. It looks like it is full of permanent folks. Our 41 foot motorhome with a tow car did not really fit in the spot. It was clean and all the hookups worked. Their rates are too high. We camped at Clinton / Knoxville North KOA in a Motorhome.
