Cave Country RV Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park in a rural setting just off I-65. It is a great location to explore Mammoth Caves NP. We also did day trips to Louisville and Lexington. The sites are long pull-thrus with a wide road so no worries getting in or out. The park has pretty trees, perennials, and lots of grass in between sites. The landscaping is well cared for. Folks in office are kind and professional on the phone and in person. We will definitely stay there again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Saratoga RV Park, Gansevoort, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two months over the summer-fall of 2017. We camped in the main central area behind the office so we were not under the many tall pines throughout the campground. The voltage is a little high so if you have a computer surge protector, it will constantly be tripping off. We discontinued the use of our surge protector and did not experience any problems. This area is usually busy with people who are staying just a couple of days. Most sites are seasonal, and in the shade of the pines. The office staff are super! This is a beautiful area and a great starting point for the Adirondack Mountains. We enjoyed biking from Glens Falls to Lake George and kayaking the Hudson River near Corinth, NY. We would stay here again. We camped at Saratoga RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
