We stayed at this campsite while doing our house search and we will likely never stay here again. Though our campsite was nice, number 23, others were not. Some campsites that were not in the Acorn Loop were literally on the side of the road, you had to set up your tent facing the main road. Bathrooms were not cleaned all weekend and there were 2 showers for the whole campsite in the Acorn Loop. You showered with bugs since there is no vents, the door didn't close all the way and nobody ever cleaned it as far as we saw. This campsite did have nice hot water in the showers but the sinks had 2 separate faucets for hot and cold so if you tried to wash your face at the sink your hands got really hot from using only the hot or really cold from using the cold. The office is a shed and you cannot buy anything besides wood which was very expensive for the amount you got.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and our stay was ok. We had a nice site and the campground had nice amenities but we do wish that there were more activities over the holiday weekend. On Monday, Memorial Day weekend there were no activities at all, which disappointed us because we were expecting to have some fun. The campsite has fun stuff like the jumping pillow or the inflatable castle but none of those things were up and running on the times they were supposed to be. The pillow was supposed to be open from 9am to 5pm but it was closed Monday and all of Tuesday. The shuffle boards were kind of beat up and the sticks were bent and broken. There is only 6 stalls for the women for the WHOLE campsite and only 8 showers. When they would clean the bathrooms they would close the whole bathroom and nobody could go unless you went to the other side of the camp to the other bathroom. I wouldn’t discourage people from coming here, but I think that it could use a lot of improvements.
