Lakeview RV Park, Bluff City, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, very accommodating hosts. The sites are flat and level, but some make not like the fact they are dirt, not paved. All stone roads and sites. Not a lot of space between sites and no trees. Easy in/out, long pull throughs, all in all, a nice park. We camped at Lakeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground, Romance, West Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Yup: the road to the CG is narrow, windy, but well paved. DW closed her eyes a couple of times, but it really is not a problem traveling at a slow rate. The pull-through sites are fine, not much space between sites. Stone surface, some grass. They just put sewer line to the pull-through area. We did pick up some stations on our antenna and the Wi-Fi was fine. Overall a nice overnight stop. We camped at Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground in a Motorhome.

Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We choose this park because it's a Passport America park. The park is very convenient on/off I-95. The owner/manager was very nice; that's where the good stops! We hit the trifecta for the night, road noise, race track and trains. Not a lot of sleep that night! All the sites are on grass, close together and not real level. OK spot for an overnight, but that's all. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second winter here and we love it. The sites are paved with grassy sections between sites. The roads are paved, the pool is great, some shade, great super clean bathrooms and showers. Now why is this not a 10? They need to better control the dogs, who seem to control this beautiful park. Limit the number of dogs per unit, make the people pick up after the dogs and control the barking. By the way, I own a dog, but believe they are like kids and need guidance. The second issue is the erratic Wi-Fi. It needs an upgrade to serve the park. Too slow, down too often, etc. We will be back as we enjoy the area, this park and the people. We camped at Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley in a Motorhome.

A great park; level sites, grassy sections between sites, stone surface, good space between the sites. What great views from either side of the park! Very easy off/on from I-78 and all amenities one needs. Excellent spot for one night or an extended stay, very country like. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fredericksburg VA / Washington DC S. KOA, Fredericksburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

The road leading to this campground is a little narrow, but okay if you go easy. The rest of the area is nice: level, dirt sites, decent width, but no privacy between most sites. A little pricey for this time of year. We camped at Fredericksburg VA / Washington DC S. KOA in a Motorhome.

We found this campground to be just great and complimented the area as well. The sites are wide, paved, level and very clean. The roads are paved and wide, the park is kept is great condition. We spent two months here and will stay longer next year. The management was very helpful as we had some RV problems. Really a positive experience for us. We camped at Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley in a Motorhome.

Lake Panasoffkee I-75 KOA, Lake Panasoffkee, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Difficult for us to rate this park, as it's really for fishermen, so for them it is great. The price is also very good, the buildings all very clean, heated pool and lots of activities. Guests do most of the arranging for the dinners and such. Not being fishermen, there's not a lot to do in the area. You must travel a bit to see movies, etc. They need to deal with the dogs barking and running around. The odor from the sewer plant can be overwhelming and some sites are extremely tight. Pick your site carefully. Some electrical problems and sewer line problems need to be dealt with. I understand this place has risen from the dead, so more time will produce more necessary improvements. People very friendly and extremely helpful. If you fish, this is heaven! We camped at Lake Panasoffkee I-75 KOA in a Motorhome.

Anchors Aweigh RV Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We spent eight days here and enjoyed our stay. The sites are level, cement pad, good spacing between units, easy hookups. Only problem is the lack of mature trees. Level, paved roads, good neighbors and very friendly, helpful office staff. Looking forward to staying there again. We camped at Anchors Aweigh RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Carrabelle Beach RV Resort, Carrabelle, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very pricey, IMO for this park. Sites are short and relatively close. The office person told us we could "probably" leave the toad attached, but not really. All sand sites, uneven. Wi-Fi and cable were strong and the park was clean. We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Benchmark RV Park, Meridian, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park for an overnight stay, but not any longer than that. The sites are long and level, but uncomfortably close for us. The speed limit was ignored by seasonals and there were many. We'd stay again overnight only. We camped at Benchmark RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yet another great COE campground! Super sites, right on the water. Good spacious sites, friendly hosts. Not much for kids and no sewer. We really enjoy COE campgrounds. Rate reflects America Beautiful pass. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Beech Hill Campground, Twin Mountain, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice CG, but a little more maintainer would be nice on the roads. Some very small trees and limbs need to be trimmed to allow larger units in without scraping the limbs/branches. The sites are great, mostly level, grass, good setup for utilities, friendly, just need some road work. We camped at Beech Hill Campground in a Motorhome.
