Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Really liked this place! It is just off of I-40, 15 miles east of Kingman. Paved roads & gravel, spacious lots. Extremely well-kept park & staff was very friendly. Even though it's close to the interstate, it was quiet & out-of-the way nice! We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A short trip into Kingman provides multiple grocery stores, restaurants, and pretty much anything you need. Go into Historic Downtown Kingman & eat at the Rickety Cricket Restaurant. Delicious food & unique atmosphere!

Greer's Pine Shadows, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on our way through Arizona. Stayed 2 nights, should have left after one. My overall feeling of this park was that the owner was doing US a favor by LETTING us stay there. Sites are extremely tight with lots of trees. Everything is rocks & gravel with one main road that is paved. Each site had fencing on either side (which made the site isolated & tight), the dog park was knee-deep in pine needles. Never have I ever been to a park where there was a rule that says that you cannot wash clothes in your RV (found out later it was due to water conservation - whatever). I refused to use their laundry facilities, so I have no idea what they were like. When we first drove up, our vocal Labrador was barking in the RV. I was told that "no excessive barking" was tolerated. When I went out to tell my husband to quiet the dog, the guy followed me out to our rig to make sure that I had told him of their policy - I felt like I was being babysat. I was so stressed out the whole time we were there, because I was sure that he would kick us out if that Lab started barking. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome. Will not be returning. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.
