Gulf Breeze RV Resort, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. We're going to try the year round storage and let them move it to a site. My DH doesn't like to camp so now me and kids can do our thing. Outdoor pool large. Grassy sites with concrete pads. Much nicer than other parks in area. We camped at Gulf Breeze RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort , Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was only park with availability around July 4th weekend that was semi-close (30 min) to Gulf Shores, AL. The park was okay. Pool super small and they decided not to open until noon last day (kids were very disappointed). Would not return. We camped at Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

McKinney Campground COE, Cartersville, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park was one of nicest we've ever stayed at. Nice paved roads and sites. Very private, wooded sites. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but very close to city. The lake was still very pretty even with the low levels due to drought. Can't wait to return. We camped at McKinney Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Saint Andrews State Park, Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, Private sites. Lots of bare dirt -- need more gravel. Kind of narrow when maneuvering. Site was just barely deep enough for our 5th wheel even though it was listed as a 35' -- no way! Really liked beach that was part of park (the waterfront sites are not on beach, they are on Intercoastal Waterway). Definitely will return. We camped at Saint Andrews State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was ugliest campground we have ever visited. Nothing for children to do. No privacy. Don't waste your time or money. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Lagoon State Park, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with lots of room to do and play on intercoastal waterway. Kind of tight when maneuvering with longer trailer. The sites were not narrow but not much width available for suitable trailer footprint. Very private and truly beautiful setting. Definitely warrants return visit. We camped at Big Lagoon State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $25.00

Very nice park. Across street from beaches. Bathrooms were immaculate. Lots of room for kids to ride bikes. Canals throughout site made it hard for us to back in to our original site and needed to change (we're beginners at backing). Tried a couple of times to make reservations over phone but would not take them because they had plenty of room. We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

High Falls State Park, Jackson, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first trip ever in a camper. We stayed 2 nights. Lots of things for kids to do including fishing, miniature golf, swimming, and trails. Nice paved roads for biking. The BBQ place nearby was good. Very close Dollar General for supplies forgotten. If we were in area, would definitely stay again. About 45 minutes south of Atlanta. We camped at High Falls State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
