La Mesa RV Park, Cortez, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is a small park but clean and pretty quiet. Pull thru and back in sites. We had a back in with plenty of room and satellite. We stayed a week so we couldn't have a pull thru. No problem. Would stay again. The only thing I didn't like were the hookups unground and hard to get to. I think it was the only site like that. We camped at La Mesa RV Park in a Motorhome.

WillowWind RV Park, Hurricane, Utah

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. Lots of shade trees, so if you want satellite make sure you reserve a site that has a view of the southern sky. They know which ones they are and they are noted on there map. They have cable but you have to put $150.00 deposit on a box to get it. We had a satellite site. What was a disappointment was the management. When we made the reservation a week earlier they didn't tell that our site was next to some construction they were doing in the park, so for the full week we were subjected to noise and dust. Also the first night we were there a water main broke next to our site and flooded our night. First we couldn't find any management or security to report the problem, finally dialed 911 and they sent the city out and they finally found someone. We were up until 5am with people trying to fix the water leak. Not one word of sorry about keeping us up all night. Later in the week they turned the water off for the whole park and didn't notify anyone. I know things happen but the management basically gave the impression of oh well too bad. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Red Ledge RV Park, Kanarraville, Utah

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park with lots of long term residents. But the management is great. The three pull throughs can be very tight but they put some very big motorhomes in them. We are small 30 ft plus toad and they put us on the grass where they usually put tent campers. We had full hookups. The town has no services, no gas, no groceries. You will have to drive into Cedar City for anything you need. We stayed there a week because of passport America and visited Bryce and nearby Red Canyon and other sites. It is great for hiking. We would stay there again. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for 9 days. The park is very clean, wifi worked okay. They had a gate keeper so everyone needed to have a reason to be in the park. Really the only negative is they say they are dog friendly and they are....but there are only two small places a dog can relieve themselves inside the park. I was walking my dog and he got busted for relieving himself on a rock. So I probably won't go back.....it's to bad too...it is a nice park. If you don't have a dog....it is fine.

The way the park is designed the spaces aren't to close together. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sioux Falls KOA, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here a few nights to get some business done. Freeway noise but it is close by the freeway. Lots of overnighters as it was easy on and off the freeway. It would fill up and night and clear out the next morning. Would stay here again. Except for freeway quiet park. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Far enough off the freeway, no noise. Very quiet, had a pull thru site with grass, hook ups were a little oddly placed but not a problem. We stayed there twice and will again when we are passing though. Nice little campground. We camped at County Line Campground in a Motorhome.

Beaver Canyon RV Park, Beaver, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Just stayed overnight, lots of full time residents, but all very friendly. Campground has a personality all its own. Lots of trees, site picnic tables partially enclosed to look like a cabin. Campground rustic. We would stay here again. Marias mexican restaurant on site, very good. We camped at Beaver Canyon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hitchin' Post RV Park & Motel, Las Vegas, Nevada

It is a typical desert park. Sites are pretty big and will handle any size rig. Good for overnight. If jets are flying from Nellis AFB can be kind of noisy. We camped at Hitchin' Post RV Park & Motel in a Motorhome.

Sweetwater Summit Regional Park, Bonita, California

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for the first time over Memorial Weekend. The campground was full as it was a holiday weekend. We stayed in the newer (upper) loop in site #119. The site was level and the sites are terraced and there is vegetation between each site. It was quiet, even though there were people outside talking and laughing. There were lots of trails if you are into hiking and some sites even had small corrals for a horse or two and we did see a couple of horses. We will be back. We camped at Sweetwater Summit Regional Park in a Motorhome.

Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park), Garberville, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older campground that has been recently converted to a KOA. While the campground is clean and cell service is good the web site is a bit of over the top on the looks of this campground. While this is a pet friendly park our doggy picked up a lot of small burrs in his feet when we walked him. They also advertise a pet bathing area, but the sink was really dirty and there was no warm water. On the morning we left, they must have watered the area and the both sides of the RV and car were wet. We camped at Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Skyline Wilderness Park, Napa, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a county park, and back-in sites in our loop were very tight. Our sewer was under our neighbor's picnic table. Park was clean, cell service was good. Satellite setup easy. Though the park is pet friendly our little pooch picked up lots of little burrs in his feet that we had to pick out every time we took him out. We camped at Skyline Wilderness Park in a Motorhome.

Klamath River RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is very clean, lots of grass. The entire site is grass including where you park your RV. The Klamath river is visible from you from the pull-through sites. Satellite easy setup. Verizon cell 3G. Wi-Fi good but costs $2.00 a day. Beautiful campground, would stay here again. Great destination park to see the area. We camped at Klamath River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverpark RV Resort, Grants Pass, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The riverfront sites are great; you back right up to the river. Wi-Fi and Verizon cell good, satellite TV easy to set up. Lots of green grass and flowers, a very clean park. The downside is some of the riverfront sites are very tight. When we stepped out of the RV we were standing on the neighbor's sewer hookup. There was room behind the site on the grass to sit and enjoy the river. We did have a little issue with the sewer backing up when we dumped our tanks. We had to dump the black tank slowly. We camped at Riverpark RV Resort in a Motorhome.
