Lake Havasu State Park, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice state park right in the city, but just a bit pricey. Power and water at the site and a dump station. Although when the wind blows it can get uncomfortable. We camped at Lake Havasu State Park in a Travel Trailer.

WillowWind RV Park, Hurricane, Utah

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

First let me say this is a very nice well maintained park. Our problem is not with the park but with the office staff. We reserved and paid for a site. The manager said we had that site. When we arrived to check in the office clerk told us that site was for a long term customer. We were given a site across from the site we reserved for the week. In that time there was no long term customer in there. As a matter there were 3 different RVs in there. Either the clerk did not know which site was which or was not interested in complying with our reservation. Manager was not at the office so we did not challenge the decision. Repeat, the park in very nice. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Hurricane is a quiet town with a Walmart. Lots of everything you need in St. George about 20 minutes away. As I said in my comments this is a nice park conveniently located near Zion NP.
