Older campground needs some updating. That being said, it worked for what we needed, which was an overnight stay. Loved the owners; they were very nice and helpful. We ate a little place down the road by the Three Springs Hotel which was really good. No 50 amp but to be expected since it was a older campground.

We have stayed at many other KOA campgrounds before, and this by far was our worst experience. They treat their monthly guests badly and over charge on the electric. Was charged $200 for a month of electric, and their reasoning was the larger trailers use a lot of power. Not so; we had just come from Florida where we ran our air constantly and did not pay that much. Might be an OK campground for over nighters as they make their money on those. Never felt more unwelcome at an RV park than at this one. They never cut your grass. We were there for a couple months, and they cut it a total of 3 times with us cutting it ourselves the other times. $450 a month plus electric. Will not stay here again.

Nice campground just off of the interstate perfect for a overnight stay for us. The grass was in need of cutting. Pretty sure they would have cut it, but it had been raining non stop for 2 days. Owners were very helpful and nice. The sites were level, but we had a little trouble navigating on the roads. So I would say it is not big rig friendly. The water and power worked fine. We would stay there again.

The park is about 16 miles from Clarksville TN, they offer discounts if you select a canoe package. We did not do the canoeing though. Sites were fairly level. There are sites close to the water and ones up away from the river. We chose the sites away from the river because they seemed more level and you wouldn't have a problem with bugs. We stayed a week here all in all an OK place to stay just too far from things for me.

We came here based on everyone's comments and pictures of the park on the website. Don't believe what you see! It's not terribly bad, but our spot was incredibly unlevel. The front of our trailer had to be jacked up so high our stabilizer was too short. Right now there are a lot of construction workers here and it's kind of of loud. Looks like it used to be a decent park, but right now I wouldn't suggest families staying here.

Great Park got a close spot to the office so the Wi-Fi worked great. The owners are very friendly and helped out with anything you need. I felt very at home and welcome at this park you are about 5 miles from the town of Savannah. Would stay again.

This is a mobile home park that has RV spots also, 5 mins from Plaquemine, and 20 min from Baton Rouge. About 6 miles from Wal-Mart and fast food places. Has full hookup some concrete pads also. We have been here a year because my husband was here working. Anytime you need help just give them a call and they are there right away. Guidrys restaurant in Plaquemine is a good sit down restaurant if you like seafood.

We stayed for about 3 weeks and I loved it there. They keep the park clean and the grass is cut every Friday morning. Another plus the city came through once a week and sprayed for bugs which as everyone knows south Louisiana has a lot of bugs! The pool was fairly clean a few leaves in it but there are trees around so that's to be expected. They had a few items in their store if you didn't want to drive all the way to the store. Wal-Mart is about 6 miles. We would stay here again I hated to leave.

This is the second time we have stayed in this park, and we feel very welcome every time we come here. I don't know why one person posted such a harsh comment on the park, but the only negative is that the spots are a little close. Other than that they keep the park clean and help you anytime you need anything. Lady and her family was very accommodating. It does get a little messy when it rains, but there's not much you can do about mother nature. It is a safe place and there is a Wal-mart is about 2-3 miles away.

We camped here on March 14th 2008 overnight only. The owner had the water turned off because of the winter, and also because there was no one else staying there. We stayed there because we were just so tired. Other than there not being any water the park is very clean and level. Right off the interstate but was quiet and we felt safe.

I will start with the positve's: The area is pretty and has nice shaded spots. Wal-mart is about 20 minutes away and the town has a store but get there before 7pm! The park has new owners and they are doing a lot of construction and the noise is loud and annoying, that's why the score of 7. The owners of the park however are friendly and the place is kept very clean. We would stay again if in the area. Note: Do not go by what's on their web site about the spa and etc. They are still in the process of building all of that.

We stayed here while my husband was in town for work. We chose this park because of the dog run area they have. The fenced in area that you can let your dogs run is great. That is about the only plus that I can say about this park. The price for a months stay is $500 a month. You have very basic cable channels, with not very good reception. The wifi connection is bad, you don't stay connected long. When it rains it becomes a big mud hole. The sites are really close and you can't let your awning out unless you touch the trailer next to you. The owners were friendly.

Ok, I will start with the bad first: only bad thing that I didn't really like was the water at this park, it smelled and had alot of iron in the water. If you stay here buy some Iron Out for you sinks and your white laundry, etc. The staff was OK: not really friendly and not really unfriendly. Some sites do have shade. The small fishing pond was nice to have. They pick up your garbage every morning if you leave it out at your site. If you stay monthly then you do have to mow your lawn. All in all not a really bad place to stay if you can handle the water. Walmart is close by also.

We liked this park. t is right off of I-10. The only downfall was it wasn't really close to town. Other than that, it was a nice clean park. They are adding more spots as we speak. The park has paved roads with grave sites and grass. Each site has a picnic table also. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
