Durango Riverside Resort & RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice friendly staff. Location is quite a bit north of Durango but is along the river and has very little traffic noise. My only criticism is that if you get a standard site they are REALLY close together. The next time I stay I will get either a premium or river view site. We camped at Durango Riverside Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Albuquerque Central KOA, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This is a park that is convenient to the interstate but not many attractions except grocery stores and RV dealers. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were quite narrow but no problems parking. However, it is greatly overpriced for what you get. We camped at Albuquerque Central KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Oklahoma City East KOA, Choctaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park, with easy access to I-40 yet far enough away to not have traffic noise. The sites were level, shaded and the grounds were quite clean. We have stayed here our last two trips through Oklahoma and would stay here again, except the roads are so bad in Oklahoma that we will try to avoid the state. The only downside is that there is no cable TV We camped at Oklahoma City East KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Indian Hill Ranch & RV Park, Tehachapi, California

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We did not camp "behind the gate", in fact it was not mentioned as an option. This is a beautiful setting with lots of room to hike and explore. The site we were in was quite narrow but luckily we only had one neighbor. It is QUITE a distance from the highway and way up the hill but gives you a break from the heat. We camped at Indian Hill Ranch & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Coyote Valley RV Resort, Morgan Hill, California

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park is truly spotless and the pool and spa were quite nice. The only negative is that if you are parked near the highway (Monterrey) then you get quite a bit of traffic and train noise. They also had more grass and larger spaces than many parks. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Coyote Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Canyon Motel & RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $31.00

What a pleasant little park! The people were quite friendly and there is access to National Forest land right next to the park. Some sites had nice views with shade whereas others lacked shade. We would stay here again. We camped at Canyon Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Munds Park RV Resort, Munds Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We had stayed at this park several times over the years and do not plan on staying there again. We reserved a specific location, backing on to the only green space, and when we arrived they told us that the space was not available. They have built tiny houses throughout the park and the construction noise is unbearable, on top of that everyone drives ATVs or golf carts and the resultant noise level is not what I look for in a RV park. All in all they seem to be focused on selling there tiny houses with little consideration given for those in an RV. It continues to be one of the tightest parking areas I have ever visited. We camped at Munds Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sonny's RV Park, Lexington, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a single night on the way from south Texas, and found it a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. We were met as we drove in, and taken to a nice pull thru site, and were set up in no time at all. The price is still $15 and we will defnintely stay here when traveling through this part of Texas. We camped at Sonny's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pioneer Beach Resort, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed in. We had an electrical issue upon arrival, and by the time I returned from the office they were out working to fix the problem. A great location with great staff. Plenty of grassy areas and a short walk to the beach. We will defnitely stay here again. We camped at Pioneer Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Munds Park RV Resort, Munds Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for about two weeks and enjoyed the location. The pool and spa were quite nice and very clean. The only criticism I have is that parking is QUITE tight. All of the new sites are back-ins, and with the narrow streets creates quite a challenge! We have a SWB tow vehicle and definitely had to move the slider, and even then it took quite awhile to get parked. The newer area is also essentially devoid of trees however you do have easy walking access to the adjacent national forest. We camped at Munds Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pagosa Riverside Campground, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park but has a great location, if you get one of the pull-thru sites that front the river. We had excellent service from the staff and although the parking was a bit confusing we had little trouble parking our large 5th wheel. Not all of the 50 amp sites had sewer connections so be sure and check before arriving. We camped at Pagosa Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.
