I would add an amen to previous reviewers. This is a quiet, beautiful campground with amazing views. I would note that sites can be reserved and you should probably make reservations for weekend camping. The campground is well-maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had good ATT wireless service and Internet. Our rate does reflect senior pass.

Burns RV Park

Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay:

We camped in an 80-foot pull-through with 50 amp service, water, and sewer. There are shade trees. Check-in was a very pleasant process. The park was exceptionally busy because of a local All-Star baseball tournament, but there is enough room that we were comfortable.

Date of Stay:

This is one of our favorite parks. It is green and peaceful with an interesting museum about the Oregon Trail. Sites have 30-amp service and water. There are 2 sewer dumps. Sites are adequate in length and shaded. We will return as often as possible.

Date of Stay:

I agree with other reviewers that the park is over-priced, but it was convenient to our purpose for being in the Denver area. It is also reasonably close to I-70. Sites are very close together and there are lots of rules. The noise in the park is mostly from your neighbors and not so much from the nearby road. The campground guide encourages you to take a short hike to the top of "Scenic Rock", but the first sign you see on the trail says "Beware of Rattlesnakes." We made the climb anyway and the view was spectacular. The park was full every night that we were here so that tells you something. The service was excellent. Workers were friendly, helpful, and positive. Trash is picked up at your site each morning. We would explore other possibilities on our next stay in Denver.

What a treasure! We were fortunate to find a basic site (no hookups) since we were without reservations due to an emergency. Sites were clean; park hosts were diligent about making sure that each site was cleaned after use. There is sufficient room between sites. The park staff was friendly and helpful. Make a reservation and arrive before rush hour traffic since the park is located in a busy area. In spite of this, the park was quiet and enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again. Price includes a $9 day pass.

We were desperate for a site in Denver and very happy to find this park. The laundry facilities were inexpensive and very clean. The long term residences are, for the most part, neat and tidy. The park is certainly quiet. The clubhouse was clean and pleasant. We were fortunate enough to have utilities that were easy to reach, not the ones in the center of the slab. Other reviews have talked about the speed bumps which are effective to say the least. The curbs are difficult to back over. The rates were pricey and they do not take credit cards. We had to park our car on the street as did many others.

Date of Stay:

The park staff was friendly when we arrived and gave us 10 sites to choose from. We had a long, shady site with a covered pavilion. We arrived on Thursday and had few neighbors. Friday night there were no camp sites available in the park. It is obvious that this is a park well used by local residents. Remarkably, both nights were quiet and pleasant. I would recommend this park. I know that we will return to it because of its location near shopping and sports facilities. We did not use the showers or restrooms. Our rate includes a $2 per day per person entrance fee and 30 amp electric and water service, no sewer.

First, let me qualify this review by saying that we made our reservations fairly close to the time we arrived so I am sure that we were assigned one of the last available sites, site 13. It was not level and we could not get level. Other sites in the park seemed to be more level. The 50 amp breaker at our site was poorly wired and did not work when we arrived. The camp maintenance man did respond fairly quickly to our request for help. We were never confident that the 50 amp breaker was working correctly. Campground lighting wiring was also poorly installed. We also had such low water pressure that we chose to use our pump. Overall, we felt that the park is in need of repair. The layout of the campground requires some skill in parking. The park is close enough to Yosemite to make it a good location to stay. If I stayed here again, it would not be in site 13.

Date of Stay:

This is one of our favorite parks. It is shady. Most of the sites are level and there is space between them with well-watered green grass. There is only power at the site, but they have a nice dump station and fresh water fill. We did have a 30 amp site which is reflected in the cost of the site. The staff is friendly and helpful. They do strictly enforce check-in time and we have had to wait in the parking lot to check in.

Date of Stay:

We stayed here because we could not get into our usual stop in Missoula. The park needs some work. We were extremely close to our neighbors.

Date of Stay:

This was an overnight stop for us. We used the laundry facilities and found them to be clean and reasonable. We did have a severe rainstorm and the roads were covered with water during the storm, but it quickly drained away after the storm. The sites were nice and wide. This is not a scenic park but it was a pleasant stop for overnight. We would definitely stay here again for an overnight stop.

Date of Stay:

The staff was extremely friendly! The host made a special trip to ensure that we would have room to pull our rig around another guest's motorhome before he even took us to the site. There was good WI-FI. Please note that they take cash or check only. There was easy access to groceries and fuel. Even though the roads were hilly, the sites were reasonably level. Facilities were clean and well-maintained.

Date of Stay:

Although this park has side-by-side hookups, the friendly staff made an effort to spread the rigs out. This is an open, grassy and pleasant park. We stayed overnight and were out early the next morning. We had full hookups. We would stay here again for an overnight because it is an easy park to access.

Date of Stay:

This campground has plenty of shade and the sites are long and wide. We enjoyed watching the barges and other river traffic right from the comfort of our campsite. Our Verizon hotspot worked well; our ATT phones did not. Our site had 50 amp service, no water or sewer. This was our second visit to the park and we are likely to return.

Date of Stay:

This park is really a parking lot with full hookups. As mentioned in other reviews, these hookups are located at the back of the site. We had to back up in the morning to empty our sewer. However, the park does give you easy access to the train to downtown. The casino van will take you right to the stop which is in the casino parking lot. Be aware that no one under the age of 21 is allowed to use any of the casino dining facilities because they are located inside the gambling area. This park is not inexpensive, but we have found it convenient to use for touring the Arch and other St. Louis attractions. We will likely stay here again.
