The Oaks at Sacred Rocks, Boulevard, California

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I give ODWR A 4. The owner we got to know real well in our 8 Month stay. He does not look out for his guests. You must pay for showers, pay for pool, pay for everything. They do what ever it takes to make friends happy, but not the guests. They say no outside fire wood, but yet his friends can bring it in. We camped at The Oaks at Sacred Rocks in a Fifth Wheel.

I give this Park a 3 as this is the noisiest park i have ever been in. The power is out about every other day. The owner is rude, as we asked about the swimming pool that they rent out to the City of lubbock. The park guests get to use it between 7PM & 8pm. The rest of the time is for the town use. The park is clean, but good luck on sleeping, for the freeway sounds like it is coming thru the park at all times, not to mention the Railroad Right across the street. I guess it is better than a walmart parking. We camped at Lubbock KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 31 days. I rate this RV park a 4. The road noise is really bad. I stayed as far as I could from the road The workampers could do a little more like pull the weeds in the sites. It was hard to back in to our site. There were so many cars parked on the road I could not back our 5ver in. The road to get to the over night spots is VERY NARROW. The kids play area is run down and no water on the grass. The horse shoe pits are full of tack weeds. Not many people pick up after their dogs. But all that said we had a very nice stay and the folks around us were very nice. We camped at Pasco/Tri-Cities KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
