River View RV Park & Resort, Vidalia, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We actually stayed here 3 times within about 6-8 weeks. Nice park along the Mississippi River for barge watching. Staff was great, reservations, check-in, grounds, etc. really like how they have concrete pads on some of the sites and some grass so if they aren't crowded you will have large grass area. Gravel roads, wifi that works fairly well. Be sure to eat at Roux 61 and Mammy's Cupboard. Relaxing park. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Blanco State Park, Blanco, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Nice small park with a unique entry thru the river. Paved roads, sites are level and well spaced. Not much reception for OTA TV service. Trees needed to trimmed up to clear class A motorhome. Sits along the river but you can't see the water from the sites, just a short walk. Would stay here again. We camped at Blanco State Park in a Motorhome.

Buccaneer State Park, Waveland, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Had seen comments about the park, however I was disappointed. As a first timer not familiar with park and the sites so I had to reserve from website on a gut feeling. Site was too small for our rig. Most sites are actually short and slight slope, but if you frequent the park and know what sites work for your unit, I'm sure you'll have a better experience. We were able to move to another site. For Motorhomes do suggest coming in via Lakeshore Drive. We camped at Buccaneer State Park in a Motorhome.

Foscue Creek COE, Demopolis, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoy the COE parks we've visited, this one no exception. Previously stated, large, level sites, full hookups, very friendly staff and park was maintained very well. There was firewood at our site and a community supply available. A little interesting finding our way to the park, but once there wished we could have stayed longer. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

I think for a full hookup park inside the National Park is a good deal. We stayed 3 nights, never used our vehicle to get around with the free shuttle service. Good cable TV system, yep, would have liked wifi. Our site some unlevel, but overall was pleased and would definitely would return. Very clean, staff helpful. We camped at Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Scenic Hills RV Park, Millersburg, Ohio

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Been there before, but this time park was actually closed for the season, however, they keep a few sites available for those of us showing up during the off season. Great park, we stayed in the lower section which is the newer area and has grass between sites. Wished they had cable, but the Amish in the area don't have cable TV in their homes either. Thanks for making the park available during your off season, we appreciate it. We camped at Scenic Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Really an outstanding state park, the sites are level, all with full hookups, paved and very spacious. We enjoyed a week there and it was really relaxing. Our site was on the lake which provided some really beautiful views, but a little windy compared to the inner sites. Very easy to access Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and even Pensacola from the park. Strong Wi-Fi from our site. Love it, will be back. We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Cajun RV Park, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great owners who go the extra mile for their guest. Layout of the park, makes the walking through your site a regular thing if you are parked in the middle of a row. Shame that veterans RVers don't have a clue about that, but that's life. Park was clean, well kept and will stay there again when/if we visit Biloxi again. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Really enjoyed staying here, a very well laid out park, concrete pads, roads and walking trail. Sites are close, but the staggered design makes it where you don't walk out and trip over the neighbors sewer connections. Good design of this park. Very well kept, clean and neat. Yes, it has some monthly residents, but you have snowbirds wintering there and people working in the area. I really loved this park and everyone that I encounter was great. Only negative I have is the lack of cable TV, but might not be offered in the area. The road noise for one side of the park is there, but you can't have everything. Close to I-10 for overnight stays and central location for visiting Baton Rouge or New Orleans. Will definitely return if in the area, or might even just go for a month next winter. Love the sunrise over the lake. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Benchmark RV Park, Meridian, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Good place for a nightly stop or a longer stay. Very level concrete pad, good utilities, easy to find (love the large sign that made it easy to spot from a distance). Very friendly service and overall experience. Talked to a couple other guests that make it a regular stop in their travels. Our first time there, and if in the area would stay there again. Nice park, keep up the good work. We camped at Benchmark RV Park in a Motorhome.

Honeycomb Campground, Grant, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Great staff. Really nice, clean TVA park that has been redone recently. Large pines on beautiful Lake Guntersville. Some challenge in leveling and required portable satellite dish versus rooftop dome. Good Verizon service. Bet the place is busy during warmer season. Was recommended by a friend and a good recommendation is was. Will come again. We camped at Honeycomb Campground in a Motorhome.
