Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park), Sanger, California

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The RV Park is under new ownership and they are doing a great job. The park is filled with California Oaks and very peaceful. It's on the Kings River with a small Creek that runs through it. The restrooms have keypad entry, with a private shower and and toilet area which was very nice and very clean. The 180 highway is under construction and made it difficult to locate the RV Park. The park is a natural setting not all concrete and asphalt. Sequoia National Park is about 60 miles. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sequoia National park 60 miles, Pine Flat Lake fishing 3/4 hour, Avocado Lake under construction tree removal they say 1/2 hour. What I liked was all the small towns with great little Mexican restaurants everywhere. And if you like mandarins and oranges and tangerines this is the place to go.

Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park), Sanger, California

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I read a lot of bad reviews about Riverbend RV Park. I'm out of town working and decided to go check it out. They have two private bathrooms toilet and shower that are very clean and with a keypad lock. The RV park is filled with California Oaks that are pretty awesome. It's a nice layover going to Yosemite or to Sequoia National Park. I have a 34 ft motorhome they have no problem accommodating me. The lots are really big and have plenty of room for additional parking and BBQ area. There's plenty of grass area for kids to play on and they have horseshoes and a basketball court as well. I met the new owner and he has great intentions for the RV Park. They're doing a nice job on cleaning it up. I'm enjoying my stay it's nice and quiet at night which is a must when you're working 12-hour shifts. I'm going to be in and out of here for a three or more months. I will update my review throughout the balance of my time. Overall it's a nice place. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of little Mexican restaurants in the town about 10 minutes away. And if you like citrus oranges mandarins and tangerines are in abundance everywhere here. Fishing at Pine Flats Lake and Avocado Lake. In The Lakes are probably a half an hour away but the RV park is right on the Kings River and you can walk to it,
