Ocala North RV Resort, Reddick, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground in the middle of horse country. Large grassy areas with tall shade trees. Pool and clubhouse. This campground was recently purchased and is undergoing some updates. The sites are all concrete with patios, but some of the pull through sites are older and cracked. Most are new and easily accessible, though. Activities every evening in the clubhouse. We camped at Ocala North RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines), Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful place to stay for over night or longer. The pull through sites are concrete, but a little narrow. Clean, pet friendly. Easy to access, right off the highway, but quiet. Well kept. They were able to work us in, after there was confusion with another campground down the street with a similar name. Lots of amenities, but no pool. We'll come back. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Fifth Wheel.

Golden Isles Vacation Park, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park in need of some serious upgrading. We didn't use the pool, but it appeared to be in good condition. The roads are all gravel and have multiple pot holes. Sites are grass with concrete patios and picnic tables. No trash pick up, but 2 centrally located dumpsters. Unfortunately, these were emptied in the wee hours of the morning waking us up. Multiple full-timers. We seemed to be the only people picking up after our dog. The main buildings all need to be painted. While the outside needs lots of work, the office and cafe were quite clean and up to date. The staff was helpful and the food was good and reasonably priced. OK for an over night pass through. We camped at Golden Isles Vacation Park in a Fifth Wheel.
